- Very rare random drop from the Wintersday Chest that spawns during either The Strength of Snow or Straight to the Heart.

- This is a miniature version of the Jingle Bear, even though its name suggests it is related to the Polar Bear.
- The bells on the Miniature Polar Bear jingle when it moves in explorable areas.
- This item's "absurdly low drop rate" is by design. [1]
- Players have estimated absurdly low to be less than 0.02%, which has been confirmed to be "fairly close." [2]

- Originally denying the existence of the minipet, Gaile Gray apologized for the miscommunication within ArenaNet.
- The quests that give players a chance to acquire this minipet were introduced during Wintersday 2007.
