35 Iron from purple with lesser value, and lower req, 4 less from gold with more value and more req? (Both HS)...looks like rarity isn't a factor for the salvage. or even the value. but i thought higher req would make more material...well. maybe none of these three things affect salvage either. —ZerphaThe Improver 16:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
