Biography:
Aria was born to a loving ranger couple deep within the Wilds of the Maguuma Jungle. “She learned to hold a bow before she could walk.” Some people would say. Others said that Aria’s affinity for animals was as great, if not greater, than Melandru’s herself, thanks to the gentle teaching of her parents.

Near the young age of five, the Centaur threat in the Wilds had increased to dangerous levels. Aria’s parents made the tough decision to send her to live with relatives in Ascalon. Her aunt and uncle were skilled elementalists residing near the Icy Mountains of Wizard’s Folly. They encouraged her devotion to the arts of the Ranger and her great love of nature. Aria was awed by the arts of her guardians as they practiced. With piqued curiosity, she began watching her aunt and uncle more closely as they demonstrated their great skill.

Many happy years passed as Aria grew up. As she steped into adolescence, she began to go out and explore the surroundings of her home; each outing lasting longer than the one before it. One eventful evening, during the full of the moon, Aria saw a small cat in the distance, running for its life. Though she had never seen one before, Aria quickly realized, from her ranger training, that it was an endangered Stalker cub and that it shouldn’t be out this far into the mountains.

Moments later, Aria was horrified to see the cub being chased by a large group of Ice Elementals. She knew that there would be no possible way the little cub would have a chance if she didn’t do anything. Without a second thought, Aria knocked an arrow to her bow and charged the elementals, her emotions taking over.

Some time later, Aria awoke to the cub licking her face. Slowly, some hints of the past moments came back to her; a deep feeling of defeat, flashes of light, and a firestorm that appeared silver against the silhouette of the moon, and strangest of all a bestial howl that came from the far north.

Millions of questions ran through Aria’s head as she slowly made her way home, unaware of the cub at her heels. Did she create that firestorm? Why in all of Tyria was that cub out here? Where did that howl come from and why? It was so sorrowful.

After that eventful night, Aria continued to hone her skills not only as a ranger, but also her newly discovered potential as an Elementalist. Four years later, Aria is overjoyed when she receives news from a traveling merchant that her parents had heard of her remarkable achievements and were on their way to see her, intending to arrive within the year. Several more years pass, and still no sign of Aria’s parents.

Then came the horror of the Searing.

Aria’s mind was once again filled with millions of questions. She began to doubt the words of the merchant. Was he really telling the truth? Did he actually meet her parents? Were they even still out there somewhere? What had happened that night so many years ago? The sorrowful howl she heard still echoed in her mind. Was it somehow connected?

Adopting the name "Silverfyre" in honor of the phenomenon she seeks to recreate, Aria decided to leave her home in Ascalon with Luna, the Stalker she rescued, at her heels.
