Zhu Hanuku, or "Old Long-arms", is a powerful century-old Kraken and sea spirit that rises every year after being killed. It has become a part of the Convocation to slay Zhu Hanuku. The Kappa of the Jade Sea are said to be its servants.

Notes

• As a primary Mesmer, its Fast Casting shortens the casting time of its spells; however, all of its spells have long activation times even with its high rank in Fast Casting and are easy to interrupt.
• The Spear of Archemorus deals considerably more damage to Zhu Hanuku than stated in the effect description, ranging from 450 damage at level 1 to 1,900 damage at level 5.
• As with all bosses with powerful AoE attacks, Pain Inverter is effective against it.

• There is a miniature Zhu Hanuku.
• Zhu Hanuku looks like a massive Phantom that has an octopus beak, a solid jade shell, and is opaque.
• This is one of the few NPCs in Factions that has a skill (Light of Dwayna) from Prophecies or Nightfall.
