Be careful when taking him down, since he is of a level that is higher than most characters who are attempting the quest that involves him.

- Enchantments cast on Elonbel before he turns hostile will remain on him after turning hostile. Avoid casting or maintaining any enchantments on him as this can hinder your progress.
- It is advised to be at least level 5 to attempt this, with at least one monk in the party.
