Lol useless update --65.0.109.30 22:48, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Damn, I was hoping for a 25% off char slots for winter season :( --SharkinuUser Sharkinu sig.png 22:53, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

In case anyone's wondering, the promotion is just "get eye of the north for free with the purchase of any of the three campaigns" Idmz 22:55, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Dont know where to ask this, but multiloaders also blocked? after this update i could not run multi gw's (Mr-HaXx 22:55, 23 November 2009 (UTC))

Nope, GWx2 is still running 2 copies side by side for me (version 4.1 FWIW) --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 23:04, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Running Multi Launch still works too Tasha Darke 23:24, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Multi Client[edit]

What programs were affected? 72.52.228.40 23:40, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

I doubt any were affected. Whoever added this note, probably didn't know he needed to update both gw.exe files (for gwx2 anyways)

Not sure what changed, but it's much smoother running fx. 5 accounts. Was getting terrible random latency or fps drops before. Now it's back to normal. :D Panthor 00:00, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Noctarch was the original editor. I disagree with him on a great many things, but he's not a fanny. If he says it doesn't work it's not cause he didnt know how to use the program in question. -- Salome User salome sig2.png 00:09, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
He was correct, the change was big, memory addresses were messed around with in a big way it seems. I had to completely rewrite my multi-loader. GWx2 seems to be a hex-editor, which is technically against the EULA, and why it still worked, proper multi-loaders work in memory, without editing the game files or any more than is required. MattyAsia 02:05, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Every update you gotta redo the 2nd gw dat right? With such a small update they might have just forgotten.Justice 06:51, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Matty's Multi GW Loader also refuses to load moar GWs Jonny10 User Jonny10 Sig.png 10:30, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Guild Wars Multi Loader from guildwarsmagic is not working. I have done the usual both client update and copy stuff, but only 1 gw will run. Tried the earlier version but that one did not work as well. Mr-HaXx
Hex-editing the exe works fine here. --BlueNovember 18:56, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
MGWML.exe is working fine. Some updates affect them temporarily, but they are generally updated very quickly. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 00:26, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Note from Matty: Ok, todays update was different to those of previous days. Hence the update note I guess, the old loader no longer worked with minor updates. However, the good news is that I've been working on a new better system, which is now available as version Guild Wars Multi-Loader Beta 3.00. Have fun playing! MattyAsia 01:55, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Reply To Matty - I still cant get your loader to work. I've followed the instructions to a T. Both Dat files updated, but only one client opens. ive tried it with a hex edited gw.exe also, but that doesnt work either. It seems strange that it could bge working for some and not others... No more logitech :O[edit]

Oh dear... (no pun intended) --Ridz16 20:03, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

My G19 macros still work fine. Admittedly, I only use things like /ageENTER /deathsENTER and F12c - is there any support for these G-series macro knackering claims? --snogratUser Snograt signature.png 21:51, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't see the point in blocking it (in fact, my macros work perfectly fine). I can't imagine any illegal use of such macros. I have my call target defined as G15 macro, just not to have to press Ctrl + Shift + Attack at once - 4 years of updates, and you still can't define your own keys for this...ZeeWolf 22:46, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Same here, I only use em for stuff with multiple keystroke like targeting ppl shift+ctrl+spacebar into one g button. w00t my G11 still works =D--Ridz16 22:49, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Even if it dsnt, there are PROGRAMS out there for free that do the same thing :) ¤Dark ';~;' Chaos¤ 23:06, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
My old G15 still work... just tested /sit[enter] /stand[enter] and a few movement macros... whats up with that claim? meheezen 23:33, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
Bored --Priceless talk 23:37, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

(Reset indent) It's pretty bloody tedious that Anet refuses to support the G15 display and now – apparently – also macros. I gather they're concerned about unfair advantage, but I don't really see who it's hurting in PvE at least. It's just bloody tedious since you apparently can't rebind <ctrl>, <alt>, or <shift> to more convenient keys, and likewise can't rebind multi key actions. Ah well, at least my G15 macros still apparently work — as do my G500 mouse macros. (Or are those next for the nerf? 40px-Emblem-very-very-evil.svg.png) --DryHumour 23:44, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

my g11 didnt work at all and my g15 needed a full profiel rework to work >:[ 127.0.0.1 23:47, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
