Candidate statement[edit]

This is a voluntary reconfirmation of my sysop status. Because I am a grandfathered sysop, I could not have a reconfirmation forced upon me without community consensus or an ArbComm ruling, per current policy -- the "user support" method of reconfirmation clearly cannot work for grandfathered sysops. I started this RfA to allow a "user support" reconfirmation request at a later date should the community wish it.

I will not argue for or against my deserving sysop status. I do not believe such a decision should be made based on my own testimony.

  1. While I don't necessarily think removing Tanaric is the best decision, the choices admins have made recently are a bit disheartening. It seems as if we've swung from being super strict about policy to forgoing it in favor of judgment calls. Request for Reconfirmation[edit]

  1. I nominate both User:Aiiane and User:Tanaric for reconfirmations. Their recent blocks and ways that they have dealt with situations have shown that they are prejudice in the sense that they let their own personal issues with users get in the way of what they can and can not do according to policy. 75.155.71.72 10:46, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
