Highly salvageable

Highly salvageable is a weapon upgrade that describes weapons that yield more rare or common materials when salvaged than similar items. It can be found on dropped items as an inherent modifier or on weapons with a "Measure for Measure" inscription.

Notes

• The total merchant value of the salvaged common crafting materials is usually greater than that of the salvaged item; depending on supply and demand, the trader value can be greater still.

• Some players believe that highly salvageable weapons are more likely to return rare rather than common crafting materials, but no one has published sufficient supporting data. (What little evidence there is can be found in the drop data articles for certain weapons, e.g. Ruby Maul, Jeweled Daggers, Diamond Aegis).

• "Measure for Measure" will not allow you to salvage otherwise unsalvageable items (e.g. collector weapons with an empty inscription slot).
