Talk:Confessor Isaiah
Could he be the guy behind Zinn's rogue golems? He's obviously got an interest in having Salma dead. It's interesting that Zinn's trial was introduced at the same time as the War in Kryta, so I'm guessing they're related. -- pling 15:42, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- Referance to Isaiah Cart'something?--Neil2250 , Render Lord 15:47, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

- An exiled golemancer free for the grabs of anyone who is willing to let him do whatever he wants? Actually, it makes sense for pretty much every active faction in-game to be present on the trial.--Fighterdoken 21:39, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- I think that it was indeed a WM guy, possibly Isaiah, and the purpose of killing the other royalties was to keep the focus off of him. Think about it: The only ones attacked were the strongest nations, and the strongest and first of the golems were sent to Salma, along with all of the other golems Zinn made (excluding bits, which are weak, and M.O.X. and G.O.X.). -- Konig/talk 23:53, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

http://www.guildwars.com/images/warinkryta/wm/wm2.jpg --Not sure how to link it, taken from the War pages roster of important figures, also not sure how well it can be compared to our Justiciar assumption, to get to the roster to read the text that would be next to it simply click the WM emblem and it'll be midpage on the one it links to; Apologizes on wall and my lack of skills
Split[edit]
Disagree with merge from Justiciar Isaiah for similar reasons as listed at Talk:High Inquisitor Toriimo, only here "replacement for Confessor Dorian" makes the spoilers a bit worse. --Janwen 01:40, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- I too disagree with the merge, unlike Princess Salma, they use two different models and are based at two different points in the timeline. It's like if we were to merge Gwen (Prophecies) with Gwen (Eye of the North) or Nicholas Sandford with Nicholas the Traveler. -- Konig/talk 03:35, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- It seems as though some people don't see that there is a difference in the game between starting it, and finishing it. Muddling up all of the info onto singular pages is like merging the historical facts from the American Revolutionary War, and the War of 1812. Were there overlapping players in both? Sure! But who in their right minds would blur the information together, and claim that it's easier to understand? Please, PLEASE make this wiki usable and informative, not confusing and lacking in focus. - I agree with the split. They're effectively 'different people' in the timeline. -- pling 17:21, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- It wouldn't merging facts from the American Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, it's more like merging an article about Abraham Lincoln in 1861 and Abraham Lincoln in 1864 into a biography of Abraham Lincoln. We don't give Devona four different articles, even though we meet her at four different points in the timeline (pre-Searing, post-Searing, Nightfall, GW:EN), so why should we for this? --Santax (talk · contribs) 17:50, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- My comment was also targeting the much broader trend of combining all WiK info onto pages which detail people/places prior to the WiK. G R E E N E R 18:01, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) The difference with Devona is that it is the same person all around, same model same name same story same everything. These two are different. Its the same as Gwen, minus name change. But lets ignore the spoiler aspect and the timeline aspect for a bit. Do we have Nicholas as 2 different people? Yup. Do we have Etham the Artisan as two people? Yup. And I pointed out we have Gwen as two different articles. It's the same thing here. Unless we merge those, and the Gwen NPC articles, then we should have this, and the Toriimo article, separated. -- Konig/talk 18:10, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- People reading a biography about Abraham Lincoln generally aren't concerned with spoilers... Or do you also suggest we merge Spoiler-related boss? Oh and Turai Ossa and Ghostly Hero. Commander Varesh, Varesh, and Prophet Varesh? Shall I go on? (Hunted down my examples before Konig posted xD)--Janwen 18:16, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Profession[edit]
What leads us believe he is a ranger? wouldn't a Confessor be better suited as a Monk, or is this from official word--Lord randy taylor 16:31, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- He's gonna own face with Signet of the Unseen, I bet. Arshay Duskbrow 16:34, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- He's the same person as Justiciar Isaiah, but the discussion here and on Talk:High Inquisitor Toriimo opted to have two pages for the same person to avoid confusion. --Santax (talk · contribs) 16:36, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Forgot the whole debate of "People can't have the same name/profession, they must be the same person" that goes on, wonder how he came to power anyways--Lord randy taylor 17:38, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Balancing WM skills, obviously. -- Arduin 17:44, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Would make more sense him to balance warrior and Monk skills, lot more--Lord randy taylor 19:50, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

- Confessor Dorian isn't Confessor Isaiah. And please sign your comments. -- Arduin 17:46, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- No, but Justiciar Isaiah is (and he's also in the mission referred to). -- FreedomBound 17:50, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- My bad. -- Arduin 21:20, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

I think someone should try and get a nice screenie of the actual ingame model instead of the pictrue found on the gw site. -- Magamdy 17:44, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
