Split[edit]

To (2006)and (2007 versions, as the dialogue and monsters are different--TimOfDoom 10:59, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Disagree - frankly, the 2006 version is a historical footnote at this point. User Auntmousie 19x19Jrat.jpg(AUNTMOUSIE) 07:24, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Reward Dialogue - Captain Rujiyo[edit]

I am not sure, other than maybe his dialogue changed after completing the series of quests, but is there anything else from Captain Rujiyo that is related with this quest?

Bugs?[edit]

Isn't there a bug about the lesser guys popping up every once in a while, even if you did finish the quest, but it doesn't 'show' or appear to be recognized? Ariyen 08:32, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Yes, and wont allow me to complete quest for some unknown stupid reason, even with the whole cave cleared.. (unsigned, cbf.. too much work)
This happened to me when I went into the cave from the wrong entrance. Starting over and going through the marked entrance fixed it. 71.199.10.77 20:55, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

So got credit for the quest with two of the grasps still left alive in the cave. (Usaf1a8xx 14:29, 1 July 2011 (UTC))

Every year the canthans kill peasants on purpose[edit]

Actors run into the Naga cave, driving out the Naga who get into the village and kill peasants and guards - and they repeat it every year??? On purpose? What kind of festival is this? It defies reason. I would propose to the powers that be to change the quest to make it more civilized. Jafar 05:46, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

And having the same guy die every year is any better? Or what about the snowmen and grentches who repeat the same tactics yearly. Honestly, I think the replayability is only due to it being available for a limited time per year, and that in "actuality" (aka lore), these things only happen one time. Except the Halloween 2009 quests, which had slight alterations to them in 2010 to merit the retention. Konig/talk 06:10, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
This is different from the other examples you mentioned because, if the festival were an annual event, the Canthan authorities would have been killing peasants routinely for entertainment purposes. My concern is not with repeatability of quests, but annual government-caused invasion by monsters... etc. If the reenactment had happened only once and we are just replaying it for gameplay reasons, that's fine with me. Jafar 06:26, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
You can clearly see under dialogue that it was supposed to be a reenactment however the nage weren't compliant and attacked. Dab Kilm 12:43 3 July 2011 (PST)
There's nothing to support that the re-enactments happen yearly in lore. There's also nothing to support that they happen the exact same yearly. Konig/talk 08:18, 3 July 2011 (UTC)
Farmer Lune says at the end "I've never seen anything like it. Well, except for last year, when they did the same thing." And he says this every year :) -- kazerniel (talk) 16:09, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

Cave Spawns[edit]

I don't know if it's worth noting, but it appears that Raiyan Cave is completely empty until all 7 of the Naga groups are defeated, and possibly until you talk to Farmer Lune. ninestories 17:57, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Confirmed. TikkaLeFem (talk) 21:29, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
Checked twice, they don't spawn until you reach the story marker at the entrance of the cave. -- kazerniel (talk) 16:04, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
