only gold?[edit]
i got 5 of those so far, all gold. not sure, maybe one from a vaettir. however, did not get any white, blue or purples yet. can anyone confirm this? —ZerphaThe Improver 18:08, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
my friend also got such a staff also gold
My friend got a green with that skin, and I have also received one from a vaettir. All of them gold, (except for the green obviously) The green was found in Cathedral of Flames level 3, and my other golds were found in Cathedral of Flames, Oola's lab in both chests and drops.

Crazy drop rate in Frostmaw's[edit]
I did a run a week ago, and everyone in the party left with at LEAST 1. Lol. Some with 3. Everytime we opened locked chests, they would just pop out one after the other. 2 in every 3 chest drops. Power WM

Same results in HoS, HM. The locked chests in Magmus' chamber and the one right before it sorrounded by Flowstone and Burning Ele's have given these consistently. By consistently I mean in 5 out of 6 tries. The other time I got an Elite War Tome. Also, noticed a very high rate of Platinum Sickles in the Lvl 1 & 2 Chests surrounded by Skelks. - Vahlan 99.72.195.220 18:03, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
