Talk:Guild hall
Question: Do the Guild Hall upgrades (Agents) stay if you change hall? Or do you have to buy everything again? 82.192.234.213 03:32, 4 May 2007 (EDT)
- Bought upgrades stay if you change hall. - MSorglos 03:35, 4 May 2007 (EDT)
Hey all yous guys copied this ones from the Guild Wiki page of the same name found here in specially masked boxes of Honey Wheats: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Guild_Hall --Krakko 02:51, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- Er, they are completely different. - BeX 03:53, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Surious Differances Many individual guild halls have differnt descriptions and are laid out differntly, there should be some sort of standard set up so that they are all similar.--129.21.100.55 17:46, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
New Guild Halls[edit]
there should be New guild halls that like represent areas in GW:EN
- Why? There are enough Guild Halls atm. Dark Morphon(contribs) 15:15, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
The following major regions are missing:
- Post-sear Ascalon (Prophecies)
- Swamp (Prophecies)
- Keining City Slum (Factions)
- Savannah (Nightfall)
- Everything from EOTN, but especially a 'dungeon' theme.

- I agree, I would love to see more additions of Guild Halls. Such as, more additions of Guild Cape symbols. --Lady Raenef 11:33, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
- Isle of the Dead is Post-searing. It's the Catacombs or whatnot. EDIT- also Wizard's Isle, forgot to sign Hasaple 06:21, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Isle of the Dead reminds me of a Kurzick area.
Renaming a Guild[edit]
Is it possible to rename a guild, when you own a fully stocked Guild Hall?
- No, It is not possible. Darknight670
Skill Trainer[edit]
This trainer just trains Core skills, doesn't train unlocked ones. I was disappointed, but at least you can get a Signet of Capture. - 144.226.230.37 14:26, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
High Prices[edit]
There's no bank account for the guilds... so the leader is supposed to gather the gold? Is there another way?--ShadowFog 15:24, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, as there really isn't a need. You entrust your members and in return, you give them the trust back. Many guild leaders will foil their members out of gold for the promise of NPC's but keep it instead. Other than that, there really isn't a need. Especially since when a guild is fully stocked, the only thing you can do is buy a cape. But for guilds such as mine, where the cape is more permanent then changing often, what else does the money go for? --Lady Raenef 11:33, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Formatting consistency[edit]
See Imperial Isle and Warrior's Isle for examples of inconsistency. I think I prefer the Imperial Isle standard and I have been fixing up the guild hall pages, but stopped when I noticed the inconsistency. Does anyone else have a preference for style? Misery 15:25, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think the top section of the Warrior's Isle article (and any other GH pages that have the same thing) can be merged into the main Guild Hall article. Then we can properly format the others. -- Wandering Traveler 22:46, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Seeing as apparently no one care, you are advocating the Imperial Isle structure? Misery 10:51, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- Correct. It'd probably be better to get some more opinions before making the change though. -- Wandering Traveler 00:41, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- From a strictly formatting point of view, Warrior's Isle is a nightmare that should be tagged for cleanup actually. Imperial Isle sounds like a good standard for following, specially since the guideline that should be followed here is not really all-inclusive of what would be good content for the article, at least as i see it.--Fighterdoken 00:53, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- There are basically three different "good" formats that I have seen, one in the style of Imperial Isle, one in the style of Burning Isle/Frozen Isle and the last in the style of Isle of Solitude/Isle of Wurms/Uncharted Isle. The last style is the cleanest, but also contains the least information and is probably my preference. What do others think? Misery 10:33, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- I like the Imperial Isle one. The headers are logical and the information is in-depth enough to give a passable idea of how to play the map without having played it before. --71.229.253.172 11:01, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- I have mini-consensus to go with Imperial Isle, so I'll go with that. Unfortunately due to the update I'm going to have to redo NPC counts and the lovely maps someone did with all NPC positions will have to be redone. Misery 08:33, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Maximum number of guests[edit]
My alliance has Kurzick and Luxon guilds. During an event last week we hit a limit of 20 guests in a new Party Guild hall we set up. Nobody was aware of this limit until it kicked in. Maybe this should be added to a notes section of the GH page? Cimoa
Add NPC Layout to each Guild Hall page[edit]
I have been thinking for a while of a change of scenery and switching our Guild Hall into a new one, but I do recall that the merchant/xunlai etc. NPCs are different for each Hall. I've not found any resources which would help me decide on picking a new Hall based on NPC proximity location, so I would like to suggest adding that to the Guild Hall pages! Jarus 13:33, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- That would be great, indeed. We all knows that it's relly handful to have the commonly used NPCs near. We'll have a maxed Meditation Island soon, so I can help. –Faalagorn☎/✓ 18:56, 7 June 2009 (UTC).
I have uploaded some Guild Hall NPC services maps on my user page. Academy dropout 19:50, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Population Limit[edit]
Is there a limit to the number of people that can occupy a Hall? It seems like something that should be mentioned since people use them for social events and the like. It would also keep the article continuous with the town and outpost articles that also mention population limits. --Bastet 23:13, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- The maximum theoretical number would be 1020, 100 for each guild and 20 guests. However, I'm not sure if anyone ever tested if there actually is a limit other than the theoretical one. 145.94.74.23 14:32, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Heroes[edit]
Since the last update Heroes are no longer allowed in Guild Halls... So: no more easy runing/skilling. No more fun battles with friends. My only question, WHY! Why not let those friendly heroes, who endure so much without complaining, in our cozy guildhalls :( KILL MementoMori 20:15, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- whooo they fixed it!!! KILL MementoMori 15:20, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
GL buying GH with not all campaigns[edit]
The article is stating that a guildleader can buy GH's from other campaigns, even when he doesn't own those campaigns. I might be remembering this wrong and can't test it, but as a GL you can't travel to halls from campaigns you doens't own and therefore can't buy those halls. The solution I used was going in a group with someone who had all campaigns and let a groupmember with all campaigns do the traveling. I can't test this anymore cause I now have all the campaigns
You may not puchase halls from a campaign you don't own, but if you make a guild member buy the hall for you and then give you leader back, you and all your guild members are still able to travel there even if you don't all own the expansions

NPCs[edit]
If a guild has a maxed hall then switches to a new one do the purchised NPCs also transfer over to the new hall or do they all need to be rebrought?
Cape Banners[edit]
Erm... this may seem a bit of a n00by question but...do you only gain the Guild Hall Banners (e.g. beXors Guild Cape/Banner ) from GvGing or are there otherway's to attain it? --Find And Seek 20:46, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
bugged halls[edit]
does anyone know whats going on with the guild halls bugging out atm, mine is messed up (all interactive NPC's and items are gone apart from the henchmen ) and ive had reports that its happenening to other guilds in and out of my alliance. hope someone can help.Spark-TBa 19:34, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
Ho Hum[edit]
Soooo bored of these halls. I'm still miffed at Anet for not making new ones when EotN came out. And its too late at this stage to make new ones, specially since the Live Team is so small.--Will Greyhawk 20:43, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Biggest/Smallest Hall[edit]
Which is the smallest and which is the biggest hall? --MageMontu 14:33, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- The smallest map is probably Isle of the Dead but the largest map might be the Uncharted/Druids/Nomads or Imperial isle
, not rly sure thoughSuperRobertWa 19:36, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Guild vault?[edit]
Is there common guild storage that can be purchased and shared amongst all members of the guild? --175.144.84.192 18:52, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
