War in Kryta version?[edit]

There is a new Lion's Arch explorable area related to Salma's taking of the throne, and 2 new dialogues that I've seen so far not sure how to handle two explorable areas of the same name so i wont change this page yet.

Also access to the new explorable is done by talking to Lion's Arch Keep Gate Guard after watching all the Shining Blade camp dialogues and the one outside the Eye of the North outpost at least that's pretty much all the War in Kryta dialogues my character saw before gaining entrance. I don't think Lion's Arch (Nightfall) works, since it's not actually part of Nightfall. How about Lion's Arch (quest area)? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 00:43, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Or, since both are explorable areas, keep this page open, with links to both explorable pages which would have to be called something else. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 00:45, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
I don't see why Lion's Arch (Lion's Arch Keep) can't be used. I mean, it isn't actually Lion's Arch unlike this area. It's an exclusive area of Lion's Arch that has its own instance. It would be like calling Lion's Gate something like Lion's Arch (gate area). Same idea, technically a part of Lion's Arch, but isn't accessible in the outpost. -- Konig/talk 00:48, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Musha because by the in-game help both this area and the keep are called Lion's Arch (explorable area) so moving this to Lion's Arch (quest area) or (Sunspears in Kryta), leaving the keep where it is and using this page as a disambiguation page seems to be the least confusing apprach. User Tenri My image.jpg Tenri 07:15, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Sunspears in Kryta seems reasonable to me, and would be sure to prevent any further needs to move, if a fuure quest have an insance of LA. However, I don't see the need to move at all. An otheruse at most. There are plenty of pages that link here, and the diruption of fixing them all just doesn't seem worth it. Backsword 18:11, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Is this Lion's Arch? Yes. Is this the explorable version if it? Yes. Then why do you want to get things complicated? Markus Clouser User Markus Clouser signature img.jpg 03:30, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Why? Because now there's another explorable version of Lion's Arch. Which one gets the name Lion's Arch (explorable area) is the purpose of the discussion here. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 14:21, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
I don't see a need to really change this name, truth be told. We can include the other uses template for confusion and we have the disambiguation page. No need to change this, imo. -- Konig/talk 15:25, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
For now I will agree here that no change is needed after reading this talk page and the new one's. Given that I think there may be a new wrench thrown in if a battle in Lion's Arch is added as a quest for WiK although I'm not sure that will happen, hope it does tho. User Tenri My image.jpg Tenri 07:49, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I think there is no reason to change this name, just because ArenaNet stuffed up and made an additional Lion's Arch (explorable area) which should have been named Lion's Arch Keep (explorable area).
I hope that we are agreed to remove the move suggestion? User Arrowmaster Sig.pngArrowmaster - 10:15, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

I still think we should move this. We have two explorable areas called Lion's Arch, therefore an additional disambiguation modifier is necessary. --Santax (talk · contribs) 10:17, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
I concur with Santax. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 18:38, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
As stated, moving is technically correct, but not worth the disruption in my eyes. not a major thing if you move it. Your argument however, is invalid. {{otheruses}} would handle it fine, which is exactly why that template was created. Backsword 12:45, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Rename discussion - Revisited[edit]

Now that the Lion's Arch Keep has been renamed to Lion's Arch Keep ingame, the above discussion no longer applies. However, there actually are 2 Lion's Arch (explorable area)s now. One during the Sunspears in Kryta quest and the other during The Battle for Lion's Arch. A page for the latter does not yet exist, likely because know one knows what to call it. So... Any ideas? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 17:24, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
