lol...they can't even copy the code...I vote for deletion.Elementalist-icon-small.pngWindtalker 16:37, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

Heh, yeah - I tagged a similar one for deletion. Looks like they don't know enough to copy the code from the edit page - this is just copy/pasted from the article page ^^ --SnogratUser Snograt signature.png 16:44, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
Agreed Tomoko 15:15, 18 April 2007 (EDT)

Sounds like a plan to me.IWAY55 14:54, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Wow, you can't even go in this mission with out a good guild, thats just wrong. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:65.33.248.77 (talk).
Not really. After all, it is an elite mission. I'm not really suprised it would take a lot more organization then the average mission. --User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 02:53, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but that means to acctuly play this mission just to get zodiac weapons you have to be in a guild. So you have to leave your current guild with all your friends and join another guild that hogs the place

er No: These days you just need a Scroll available from Luxon Faction Rewards NPC

i did it in 53 minutes(hm)

Sign your comments, BlackMoa. It's a lot easier to know who makes a claim like that if you don't have to browse the page history. --RoyHarmon 18:23, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Possible Bug?

I don't know if anyone has experienced it or not, but two people of my Alliance/Guild (including myself) have experienced this problem. When we were disconnected from the server (due to lag or Internet issues), our characters were rendered without our armor. When we reestablished connection, our characters were wearing our armor. As I said, I don't know if this is a known bug or what. Just wanted to know opinions before I submitted this bug report (and I didn't even think of taking screenshots).--JupiterStarWarriorTalk 05:17, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Deserted and Abandoned

For being an "elite mission" this place sure is empty! I went there and no one was there, I mean no one! Prophecies's elite mission are not always packed but decent people to play but dam, no one around and cant even had henchmen to fill out the gap! This places need some improvement to call atenttion.--ShadowFog 17:56, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

NM chest

appears to be updated. We got three jadeite, a demonic summoning stone, and a gold/green each when we beat him just a minute ago. 75.182.89.73 07:23, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

changed the reward

was checking the deep, when it had a link to the wrong chest, so i changed the link--Thedreadlordpie 18:35, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Kanaxai Knock Downs

Incorrect, in alot of places. A group of us have been doing the deep for a while now. He only needs 2 KD's to stop the spawns. And only Sappings spawn. not anything else. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:24.177.105.119 (talk).

Each of the aspects need 3 knockdowns (at 75%, 50% and 25%). Usually groups knockdown main Kanaxai twice before doing other damage to spawn 2 groups of sapping nightmares, then pull kanaxai away (where he will need additional KDs at 80%, 60%, 40% and 20% health). Extra foes spawn when you kd him at these points if, and only if, you've previously killed some of the sapping nightmares - the foes that spawn are indeed the ones listed. Hero Bug

Me and my wife (I love it when GW comments start like that) tried to do this mission today, but we had a problem were the heroes didnt follow us through the portal. When we died we could flag them through each portal, and then reappear back at the starting point... :S 84.92.169.252 22:45, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

You are allowed to flag heros into a portal, then cancel the flagging once your in a room, and they will teleport to you. Example: Flag your 3 heros into room 1, the first portal, now run into the second portal. Cancel the flagging command and they will teleport to you since they have no way to reach you. It is a neat little tactic to complete the deep if your bringing heros. --Barionic Hawkeye User talk:Hawkeye8880 20:58, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Sapping Nightmares

The recent changes to Chaos Storm makes the final room of The Deep unecessarily difficult. Due to the fact that Kanaxai spawns numerous (over 20) Sapping Nightmares, you can't just walk out of CS without walking into another one. This was fine before the recent update, as the damage fom CS was neglegible. But the addition of unconditional energy loss has made it difficult to fight Kanaxai and his Nightmares, all the while dealing with the -8 health degen from Nightmare Aspect. Suddenly, if you want to play the game fairly without using gimmicks, you're screwed on the final room. Either removal of CS from all those Nightmares or at least toning down the number of them that spawn would be much appreciated for those of us who dislike playing gimmicks. --Nergal User Nergal Ov Tartarus Nergal Ov Tartarus sig.JPG 22:44, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

My team last night hardly had any gimmicks (me and a friend in the group even ran an A/R repeating strike build) and we still won in HM with very little issues with CS. We even lost a guy to a disconnect. Perhaps you're just unlucky. I do agree that CS sucks to get hit by but we didn't have too many issues simply because we pulled properly before and after killing Kanaxai and cleared the room in about 2 minutes. We had some real idiots on the team as well (running too far ahead, probably everyone had to get ressed once or twice in the intro stages), and it was my first time even being in that mission. Simply saying, I don't think Chaos Storm is really that big of an issue if you're smart about what you're doing.

Inconsistency

The walkthrough for section 15 is confusing. It says that all of Kanaxai's spawns will appear if he is knocked down twice without killing any, which I know is correct. It also says that Kanaxai can have a maximum of 24 creatures spawned, and that he spawns 8 at a time, implying that he would need to be knocked down 3 times. I didn't bother to count the Nightmares last time I was down there, so can someone clarify this part? --Irgendwer 18:48, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Nightmare Aspect

the Nightmare Aspect in Kanaxai's room doesnt end when he dies. It makes getting the chest a lot harder, worth noting? Demonic Fahrir talk 08:11, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Recall and Stonefist

Should it be mentioned that if using the recall technique in the last room, that you should remove/replace armor with a Stonefist insignia? That way, the 2nd knockdown can be used (Kanaxai gets up quicker) before the Recall is removed by the nightmares.

Teleport or Shadow Step?

I'm surprised that Recall works in Section 6 as Shadow Step is usually not possible through a locked door. Is this an anomoly? Robdalf 00:11, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure but I think the idea is to use Recall to get through the door before it closes. --Irgendwer 07:42, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
There's a difference between two areas that don't have a path connecting them, and two areas with a connecting path that happens to be blocked. The gate in this case is a temporary barrier, which to the engine looks no different to, say, a monster bodyblocking you. Contrast this with Urgoz's Warren, where you need Consume Corpse/Necrotic Traversal to get to the lever on the bridge because no path exists otherwise. That's my theory anyway. -- Hong 09:17, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
You can step through the door with recall because the path is open. When the door is closed you can't. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 09:19, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Lack of basic information

So how about some information about what you have to do to get into the mission. Do you need to link up with people to play or not? How many heroes can you take? The page reads as if the reader knows the area and has been there. I for one have not and wouldn't have a clue about anything to do with the Factions Elite Missions, so am looking for basic information. emesis 124.182.153.250 21:21, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

read the outpost article for information how to get there =/ As for your other questions.... what? really, what? "link up with people to play.... how many heroes..." seriously, have you ever played GW before in your life? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 90.206.126.224 (talk • contribs) at 15:59, 27 June 2011 (UTC).
I agree with the OP: the Deep and Urgoz warren article are written for people who have some familiarity with the areas. Since both areas can be completed — almost easily — with two players (and possibly with one), both articles are due for a rewrite. (Plus: tactics have evolved and they are somewhat different for 12-player teams vs two player teams.) — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:46, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
I think the article would benefit greatly from having a 12-person vs 2-person strategy split. It's a bit different in the room with the pads when you only have one person with Recall and allow 3 out of 4 of the heroes to glitch through, which with bip or blood renewal on that hero makes for incredibly rapid progression past that point. I've only fooled around with it 4-5 times total (once normal rest hard mode) otherwise I'd write it out myself. 24.13.211.110 17:00, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
