Balancing

They "balanced" the gold rewards, the quests that give out 4 War Supplies have been reduced to 250 from 500 and the ones that give out 15 war supplies have been increased from 500 to 750.(marsc 08:27, 30 May 2010 (UTC))

Kournan Military, Crimson Skull, Jade Brotherhood, Luxons, Kurzicks, and yes, White Mantle...chances are excellent you've already slaughtered thousands in your time. Of course, it's only fair. GW is equal opportunity carnage. Amusingly, the Am Fah don't have any female units, while the (ironically named) Jade Brotherhood not only have women combatants, at one point they were actually led by a woman - until we killed her. I vaguely remember this boss having dialogue in reference to the character, Amilyn, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If anyone would care to post the quotes from this boss, that would be great!
