Test of the Chosen

The Test of the Chosen is an annual event administered by the White Mantle on the Summer Solstice to find who among the people of Kryta are Chosen. The test has been taking place since at least 1067 AE according to Mantle Knight Franklin. It is done through the Eye of Janthir which is taken to various villages. The Chosen are said to be taken to the Temple of the Unseen to learn under the Grand Masters; however, they are actually taken into the Maguuma Jungle and sacrificed upon the bloodstone within. All knights who have been promoted to the rank of zealot of justiciar had at one point administered the test.
