Having dealt with the plague situation on the western half of Shing Jea Island, join Brother Pe Wan and move to the eastern parts.
Quest information[edit]
Requirements[edit]
Objectives[edit]
- Speak with Guard Tsukaro about traveling to Seitung Harbor.
- Speak to Brother Pe Wan.
- Travel to Seitung Harbor with Brother Pe Wan.
- Speak with Brother Pe Wan once you have traveled to Seitung Harbor.
Reward[edit]
- 1,500 Experience
- 100 Gold
Walkthrough[edit]
Begin the quest in Linnok Courtyard by speaking to Guard Tsukaro. He will transport you to Saoshang Trail. Following the path will lead you directly to Seitung Harbor. Brother Pe Wan will also lead the way. Stick close to him for extra healing.
Only about half of the enemies are visible when first entering; the rest are popup monsters. It is best to stay together to prevent a mass aggro.
Upon reaching Seitung Harbor, speak with Brother Pe Wan for your reward.
If you kill all mantids and get close to Seitung Harbor before talking to Brother Pe Wan he won't follow you. And if he gets ahead of you, and ends up getting killed, don't worry about it. You can still contact him in Seitung Harbor.

Dialogue[edit]
Initial dialogue[edit]
- Master Togo
- <Character name>, I have yet another favor to ask of you.
- I believe we have narrowed down the source of the plague to the eastern side of the island. I have sent most of the instructors and students there to investigate, and I would like you to join them. Speak to Guard Tsukaro about traveling to Seitung Harbor. He knows of a hidden path that will get you there quickly. Brother Pe Wan is waiting to help show you the way.
Intermediate dialogue[edit]
- Guard Tsukaro
- I must warn you, the eastern side of Shing Jea is much more perilous. Are you sure you are fully prepared?
- Well, then, let us not keep Brother Pe Wan waiting. He gets a little cranky when he waits. Shall we?
- Your entire party is about to be moved to the next area. Make sure all party members are ready before doing so. Do you wish to continue?
- Brother Pe Wan
- <Player name>, I have been expecting you! Many of the instructors have pushed ahead to get a jump on this plague. We must hurry to the eastern side of Shing Jea Island... we may just catch up with the rest of the headmasters and stay one step ahead of this mysterious affliction.
- Here it is: Seitung Harbor. Meet me inside and I will pass on Master Togo's instructions.
Reward dialogue[edit]
- Brother Pe Wan
- If only Headmaster Amara were master of the monastery, then I would receive the respect I deserve. Now take this so I can go home.
Notes[edit]
- Only Canthan characters can be in the party while completing this quest.
Trivia[edit]
- The quest name may be a phrase taken from Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken": "I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.". It could also be a reference to "The Road Most Travelled" composed by Jeremy Soule for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, who composed the soundtracks of all major Guild Wars releases.
