Blu Fang Blade (true name unknown) is a wandering monk, rumored to have fallen out of another dimension and into ours. He She has many odd stories to tell of a world full of mages, archers and armor-clad knights; Blood-red weapons of terror; ancient arms lifted from the graves of long lost champions; stones that held magical essence; warring sibling-deities and the scorched lands they left behind; sex changes and frogs ... It's difficult for anyone to determine if the stories are true or false.

Adept in magic of all sorts, Blu prefers the intense feelings and emotions that come from well executed Smiting Prayers. At a rate that would leave many monks jealous, he she mastered the art of divine wrath during a journey through the Crystal Deserts. He She then went on to the Northern Shiverpeaks - for unknown reasons - where the Norn were impressed by his her willpower and ability to slay the pestilent Vaettirs. They awarded him her with a masterwork sword, the Glacial Blade.

Today, she is diligently practicing as a healer - supporting her fellow heroes on their expeditions and coolly ignoring their agitated complaints when she slips and lets the party wipe. They are lucky she hasn't learned Word of Censure just yet.

Meaning Behind the Monicker

Blu is very much a man woman of mystery, unless we consider his her wild stories of other worlds and planes of existence where nature's laws are utterly different. Countless times he she's been questioned: "What's with that stupid name? You spelt Blue wrong, newb." Blu enjoys retelling the story of his her nickname as his her latest victims in the Random Arenas hold back sobs of pain. In one world which he she had been in for a while, ages ago, there was a beautiful sword forged from blue crystal and engraved with the portrait of a lion. He She practiced with the sword for days on end and with every swing he she felt his soul extend into it, eventually circulating as easily and naturally as breath or blood. The bond he she forged with this blade persisted through every world since - in full vivid detail - even though most of his her memories of past worlds were anywhere between gone or fairly cloudy. He She had named it the Blue Fang Blade, and honors the memory by naming him herself the same, in place of his own forgotten birth name. The absence of an 'e' goes unexplained.

Toys and More Toys

Blu is the designated warden for the animated miniature dolls that Aliceandsven acquires. He She finds the task troubling, as keeping them out of mischief distracts him her from more important things he she'd rather be doing. He She hopes one day the strange deity grows out of his hording habit. He has managed to train one of the dolls, a miniature Aatxe.

What is s/he?

With the help of Llye, an ingenious (and controversial) Asuran bio-alchemist, Blu is now a woman. Why? No one knows, but the boys aren't complaining.
