  • Trivia
  • Prince Maedhros is somewhat of a rarity, being my only male PvE character. I hated the stick figure female Assassins so much that I ended up creating a male one. I didn't want to be reminded of Keira Knightley whenever I logged on to Guild Wars.
  • Although this page previously stated that Prince Maedhros was my first male PvE character, that isn't strictly speaking true. My first ever male PvE character was a Prophecies Mesmer, who made it until level 5 and was promptly deleted when I realised that he looked like Orlando Bloom.
  • Pirates of the Caribbean references entirely intentional.
  • I never really got into playing an Assassin. As a result, Prince Maedhros celebrated his first birthday before ever even coming close to getting to level 20.
  • Prince Maedhros was named after Maedhros son of Fëanor, a proud Prince of the Noldor in J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion.
