Grinding for the mini polar bear and more..
/Sigh...quest retake #89. Loads of shards and wintersday items for trade..might make some good progress for Party Animal and Drunkard title afterall..but no darling little white mini polar bear yet. No GWAMM this year I guess but Wintersday sure is grinding fun. Ehmm...fun I mean. --Silverleaf Don't assume, Know! 21:00, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
GWAMM be4 2009 (part 2)
Maybe, maybe not but singing all the way *jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way, oh what fun fun it is to kill a raptor on the way Hey* --Silverleaf Don't assume, Know! 00:41, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
GWAMM before 2009?
My last day at work this year and almost...almost wintersday. I have this rediculous hope that I can make the last 4 needed titles for GWAMM before 2009. All 7 current title's that are "in progress" are at least half way or beyond. After a year hard work, RL promotions and helping in-game it is dedicated GRINDING TIME for me!!. I wonder, with so much gw-time ahead of me, if I can make it. It would be the icing on the cake. --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 08:39, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
I am so looking forward to this event and my matching holiday. I have been enjoying myself making the wintersday greeting for my main page and have been grinding much of late in-game. Now that the new way's to obtain Kurzick/Luxon have opened up thats my main target. Drunk off course but since it is grinding it's better to grind, drink, open chests and id a lot in one go then do it all seperatly. --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 17:15, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Status Quo, Set-in-their-way's, blindness to opinions, rudeness, off-topic, offensive non-guild wars content, disconnects, 007, 013 and endless dc's. It's mindboggeling to me that the main discriminative word for African-Nationality's is used freely here on a game wiki. Today has been a disappointing day for me. Hope you had more fun than I did. It's human nature (mayority) to be dismissive of others and only see individual/personal point of views. Makes me wonder where the "Freedom of speech" & "Respect for all mankind" came from in the first place. Better luck tomorrow, just won't be here much and I understand why others took a break from this or even left altogether. I even understand much better now why Arenanet representatives dismiss this wiki. --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 23:02, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Today was Annwn's day. She badly needed the +30 attributes she lacked while playing through Nightfall and I promised her the Mo Zing Mask. Because all she dedicated to for a long time was Legendary Survivor all the Vanguard and Vael Quests had to be done. And I did. She got the looks now :). Signing of for today though....yawn. --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 23:02, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Made it :)
what to do first???
Drunkard, Wisdom, Kurzick, Treasure, Party, Lucky, Unlucky, Master of the North....sigh. So much to do and I feel I have little time left to do so. The request for scraps of information is answered by Regina and understandable we have to wait a bit longer. Meanwhile I'm looking forward to Halloween and Wintersday. More drops to gain for the titles I still pursue and a general better mood in gw. Sometimes the discussions that greet you when entering certain towns are less "smart". I like the jolly mood of in-game-party's. Here we go again...another dungeon! Wish me luck. --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 19:32, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Between getting my sugar title and the quest for *hick* my Tyrian Legendary Survivor i took it apon me to clear my storage from *hick* all the bottles of booze i collected over the past year and day. Making *hick* a gaping hole in my xunlai *hick* having finally a bit of additional space for the golds i need for the maxing of the wisdom title. All and all this means i am pretty stationairy and *hick* drink up. --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 08:12, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
I don't think i can see another Raptor for today. I have been in their "kissing booth" all weekend and boy (girl) i had fun. And a fairly good stash of Grog as a reward. Not to mention a good stack of gold item's id'd, many many dye's and some lockpicks. But enough is enough. I have enjoyed this surprise very very much. *hick* Pour me another grog Lassy. *hick* --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 20:18, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Lagg forced me here :)
It's impossible to play, can hardly move and party members disconnect all the time. We haven't been able to complete a singe mission or quest together. So I went to a safe haven and watched some trade while. Just my luck! I found the newest member to my minipet farm. This wonderful Forrest Minotour. Happy as a .. Minotour? --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 21:23, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Accidental Survivor 4
While I still need to gain the title for my S I L V E R L E A F/necro I started another character I wanted for a long time now. A Female Ritualist!. Being so used to playing survivors or helping others with it I am now level 14, 0 death count and progressing nice and slowly. Reached all the lands, have Olias & M.O.X., and beautiful Exotic armor in expectation of her getting Ritualist FoW. Thanks to a friend i have reached tire 3 of the Zaishen title and all my characters have a nice and shining bright additional statue to their HoM.
Next to being busy with that i also guide a friend of mine with his remade character. Sadly he lost all his long term characters of nearly three years due to some intentional deleting of them all by a third party. It's been a while since he remade his favourite mesmer and we are slowly nearing level20 & first tire of the survivor title. Luckily he remained his Character name and was able to reclaim it. We both, and our alliance, enjoy the well know name & character looks. A long time in-game virtual friend returned for which the upcoming HoM-update is a sheer blessing for both of us. --Silverleaf Don't assume, ask! 14:59, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Did a lot the past 22 months and just past the 10k timecount. Its been fun... The most recent experience was a fight with Starcraft Bloodwa R [GANK] in HA. Very nice person. A rare treat. . . and a beautifull emote. --Silverleaf 17:05, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
CoF, CoF and CoF. The best chestruns in my book. While i did Bogroot HM and others for a change of taste my mind was set on (finally) using my collected key's or Lockpicks. Wisdom title for my monk got a good boost. Reminds me to update her page with her "Oracle of Wisdom" title. All i really got from this weekend is delver points for various characters, mo'money and a nice and perfect Astral Staff. And Fun! yes....FUN!! We have some new members that just start out in gw and all is new and miraculous for them. Very enjoyable to help, answer questions and do some "I am L33T" stuff for :). Gets your feet back on the ground as to the amazing stuff GW still has to offer. Maybe i can hold on just yet with Xmas, Halloween and New Year coming up. --Silverleaf 20:53, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Hah....my pre-ele is finally level 17(and a bit). Stopped paying attention to her so progress is slowed down. Non the less....it's cooooooool being lvl17 in pre. Work on my 3rd survivor is slowed down too. Farming stuff & gold for Halloween and Xmas is steady going and helping others is always fun...even i did the missions and quests about 24 times before now. The userbox for my in-game time is showing the decline slowly. Some friends come back for a few day's after a break only to go on another break. The HoM update worries me. Feels like all the work i did has been for naught. The progress i made doesn't warrent more work needed on other characters for the lack of information about the HoM update and how that will reflect on my characters. And for some rl creeps in and blocks playtime. Sigh...its getting lonely in-game and anonymous. --Silverleaf 06:01, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
DVDF Party LA I1
It was hard to enter the district but I as there and had a good time. Didn't agree with the "Best Dressed Character" but congrats! Anna. Totally agreed with the winner for "Most creepy Character". That was one of the most frightening looking Necromancers in-game. It was an awesome polite crowd, with a visit from Regina and all during the Leipzig convention. Great fun! Thank you DVDF'ers for the sweet and pretty presents you all invested in it too. That was a pretty perfect High-end schield i got for just joining in the party fun :). And yes, the party reminded me of the one given by [LaZy]. Equally good, kind and fun! Thanks!--Silverleaf 12:52, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
logg in, logg out
Was in-game for just a minute, said hi to my friends and logged out. The lack of challanges and new content is the reason for me. I can post this here on the wiki but know i will get the same old same old from status quo. Meeting new friends is hindered by the lack of quality players that look for fun and teamplay. I have no appitite for name callers and negative interaction. GW is getting old and the lack of trailers for GW2 or any teasing news is demotivating. Its not my complaint, its a complaint of many. Hear us Anet! For me ... tonight it may be better. I will find something to fill my wonderment and entertainment. Just not as often as before. --Silverleaf 09:53, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Kind of a bit bored ... i mean Big Deal for my Necromancer is done. All are leaving GW for Warhammer, LotrOnline, Conan etc..Leaves me a bit bored for AION isn't on the market yet and the other MMORPG's look so bloody and crude. Sigh...HA weekend and unprepared and i have to figure out what to get done now till halloween and xmas are here. --Silverleaf 18:49, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Phieeuwww...why ever did i forget what it takes to make a legendary survivor? My sweet little white Tyrian Necromancer is in Marketplace after completing the Vizuna Square mission at lvl6 and with max dronknars armor. Yes you read correctly . . lvl6 :). Her pre-wolf (lvl5) is still with her and i specifically have not met any hero's yet. After a full Alliance Battle weekend with the guild and alliance i wanted to really start with her to make sure i have a Legendary Survivor in all campaigns. Why? . . . ehhmmmm...because i can?. . .and because it makes HFFF a lot more exciting and pleasant with the dual purpose. Ohhwww...if S I L V E R L E A F does make it i gotta get me M.O.X. the Golem. That would fit so nicely. I hope gaining M.O.X. is not a multi campain quest for i want to keep her Tyrian/Gwen all the way. No Koss, Melonni, Dunkoro or any of the others from Nightfall. ;-).--Silverleaf 17:02, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Natural Born .... Ranger??
The test is almost right ... with the exception that i chose Dervish as Main ;-). I do have problems chosing my favourite class as is seen by the results. I think i passed though.
What kind of Guild Wars profession best fits you? You scored as a Ranger The Guild Wars character that best suits you is the Ranger character. You love nature and animals, and use it to get away from stress. In game you stand away from combat and deal great amounts of damage and you may have a loyal pet follow you wherever you go, to insure your safety as well. Although not physically the strongest of characters, you make due with what you have, and use you bow and arrows to pierce the armor and flesh of your victims.
- Ranger 66%
- Mesmer 66%
- Elementalist 63%
- Necromancer 63%
- Monk 50%
- Warrior 47%

GRRR..........disconnects, lagg and still not 17
It's been a frustrating couple of day's. While i've been trying to get past my 16.99% for my pre ele i've experienced a disconnect every single attempt. To boot i've tried some CoF runs for my necromancer and even there a get kicked....that makes me want to go ARRRRGGHHHHH. This weekend is double factions in Alliance Battle's and i can barely cope to stay in game and move. Nothing wrong with my laptop, graphics card or configuration. All is new and tweaked..(am an IT professional so atleast i am an advanced user).
So instead of playing...i'm here and browsing MMO sites. And updating my blog only to discover my page is used by Y0 ich halt while he's on vacation. Mighty proud here :). --Silverleaf 22:50, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Deviations and distractions
Play is very diverse at the moment and mucho fun. Not only did my (back up) ele finish Prophesies, we helped a friend get Protector of Tyria title and i got 12 million xp on my main character. This weekend is Alliance Batlles so many are looking forward to that mixed with CoF runs, progressing in all lands with other characters and informing all guild members and guild leaders in our alliance about the announced HUGE update coming up. Wild speculations flying anywhere :). Wild guesses and excitement as well as disappointment for the possible Ursan Blessing nerf.
My pre elemental is very very very close to level 17 and i am looking forward to that. Seems the road to Legendary Defender of Ascalon isn't that far away anymore. Even though i know 2.250 in points is still a huge amount in pre time and deathleveling. Cannot wait till she has the title and have not yet decided when to leave pre with her.
sigh...decisions decisions...--Silverleaf 16:56, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Completly sidetracked but so much fun
Did a lot this weekend only did i never get back to my research in HA. First i got paired up with a good friend of mine and together we finished Gwen. Me on Spellbinder (Rt) who had not finished it yet together with an awesome mesmer. We finished sunday afternoon with tremendous lagg and often at a ress shrine due to it. Next, after a lazy Cathedral of Flames run with my Necromancer for the dwarven title track we helped our newest guildmonk through the desert. And ascended in Tyria. Somehow i never got to finish Prophesies with her. Never mind i ascended in Cantha, i still get the jitters when ascending in Tyria :). Awesome fun. Missions with bonus off course. --Silverleaf 21:43, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Natural Blond :)
LOL...while listening to what's been called for in HA, i got sidetracked by 2 things;
- The McTiggers have a new dance routine with Chaos gloves and that so pretty to watch. . .
- Took out my favourite minipet and he was a sweet lvl1. The eyes, the ears, the moves....you gotta love them :)
It took me a while to get a decent screenie from it with the lvl1 floating on top but forgot all about the reason why i was there in the first place :).
Nothing is changed there much though. Same calling for specific builds and rank. --Silverleaf 17:45, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Hero's Ascent plan
Ok...what to do in Guildwars to spend my time usefull and with loads of fun? Farm Zaishen key's ...(i have that silver spear thingy emote at the moment) ..play AB till i max that (am lvl 8 atm) but the waiting times and constant capping bores me if i do that to long.....or...HA...????
I had much fun in HA...with a good team it's awesome. Reached the halls several times but never won it...yet. I love the r3 deer emote but don't spamm it much :). Any tips for me to focus on? Like current favoured builds etc. since i have a full unlocked account i can rerol to whatever.
....hmmm...starting research myself on PvX..have a taste for HA this weekend. --Silverleaf 07:06, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Ok, first real blog entry
So, here i am. I made the blog-page, created a header i like for now and can write on about gw related stuff. Well...not all about gw...i tried the trail for WoW today...deinstalled it too. That will never be my kind of game. And to think gamers pay to play. Didn't like the graphics, didn't like the interface, didn't like the characters...spoiled rotten by Guildwars!
Same goes for City Of Heroes. Here i liked the character interface...manomanoman those characters look good. Just didn't like the interface and the "crowded" instances.
Why i tried? I have a bit of a guildwarsblock. I can't find the inspiration/motivation to play for the last 5 titles i need for "GWAMM" or go max PvP. Ever since they pushed Beta to 2009 and announced the upcomming HoM update.
/Sigh...this will pass i guess. . . I hope. Atleast somewhere in 2009 for i wil def get Guild Wars 2. --Silverleaf 18:37, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Needs a nice & Pretty header. --Silverleaf 17:08, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
