Alliance

Heya Mage Montu. I am Why Are We Fighting, former leader (and currently interim leader) of The Black Rose Rebellion. While I was browsing the pages of the Guilds we're allied with, I noticed you left a message at SoD's talk page, saying you are looking for an alliance for your guild [OTSP].

My guild is part of the Alliance Nirvana. While it is not really a "small" alliance as you stated you were looking for, as we count over 400 members, it sure is a friendly, helpfull and mature alliance. Alliance Nirvana is open to all guilds that understand the meaning of "maturity", as so strikingly defined in your guild's article. [GN] is the leading guild of the alliance, because it was that guild that formed the alliance, and the GN forums are also used as alliance forums. Within, the allied guilds work like an indirect democracy, as each guild is allowed to appoint one "councillor" for each 10 members they have. The alliance council is the governing body that decides over important alliance-issues, such as accepting new guilds, or the alliance code of conduct. Of cource, this does not mean guilds in our alliance are forced to sacrefice their own identity; the only thing allied guilds are obliged to, is to in turn host our weekly "alliance night" and to respect the alliance rules.

As you are looking for an alliance for your guild, perhaps you might want to consider joining Alliance Nirvana. We're allways open for new guilds, and I think your guild might be a worthwile addition to the alliance. Should you want more information, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, contact me in game, or, if you're interested, leave a message on the alliance forum, where you can contact all our councillors at once. The alliance rules and the application process are also explained more deeply on the forums. I've talked with the council, and unfortunately the decision to halt the recruiting of new guilds stays. At the moment, the guilds are deciding over new policies, and somehow it has all gotten very complicated, even for those directly involved such as me. We'd really like to get [OTSP] into the alliance, but there are some things that need to be taken care of first, and at the moment, the alliance is just unable of processing any new applications. My alliance leader said she expected this to continue for about two weeks, but that is a rather wild guess, and in the meantime I'll do my very best to sort these things out. I will personally recommend your guild to the alliance, so that when we are ready to accept new applications, yours will be the first to be processed. I'm very sorry I couldn't provide you with this information earlier, but I do hope you'll have the patience to wait for us to settle this. Despite how much I'd like to have you in our alliance, I do understand if you decide to continue looking for another alliance to join, though. Umm, I'm not sure whether to write at the top or bottom I've never written on a Talk Page before. Guild:Ridirian Guides is looking for like-minded allies, and you seem very like-minded to me. We only have two allies at the moment, HaveANiceTime is the biggest with about 70 members, so there is a level of activity in alliance that we'd like to increase. We're not really interested in Faction collection at this time, more a friendly and cooperative player environment with lots happening. Hey, got an update for you :) We're currently discussing the hold on applications, and I think we'll be accepting new ones really soon. In the meantime, if you still want to try our alliance, I suggest you register an account on the Nirvana forums and read the alliance aims, alliance rules and the application process. I'll be on holiday this week, untill the 18th, but I'll keep on visiting the forum and the wiki untill the 15th, after that I will not have any internet access. ROFL! No, I would not be so presumptuous to invite you to consider us then make you go through an acceptance procedure. I have checked your guild wiki page and I see a fit. Ohai! It's been decided the alliance is ready to process new applications! So, feel free to register and post one :) Btw, when I last tried posting a new topic in the Guild Application section, I got some error saying something about me not having permission to do so. The admins said it would be perfectly possible though, so I suppose I just did something wrong. When creating the articles, please make sure you use the correct case for titles (e.g. "Major characters" rather than "Major Characters"), and that the transcription is exact -- for example, I found that you pluralised Ebon Vanguard in the Flight North. We need to check the The Last Day Dawns (cinematic) then cause i got the coding from there.
