Game link[edit]
Hey, what did you click in-game to get you to Game link:Quest 1035? Those pages need to be manually set up as redirects so in-game wiki links work. Thanks. -- Brains12 \ talk 00:23, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Never mind, figured it out. In future, if you come across a page like that again, could you set up a redirect as I've done here. -- Brains12 \ talk 00:28, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Ah, sorry for the delay. Uhm, I pressed "f10" and scrolled down to the quest log and clicked the "BauBao Wavewrath" quest. When my IE opened it pulled me to that page. But sure, for future instances I can do a redirect link. Mind telling me how, though? xD -Lena talk 00:36, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Copy the code that's in the edit I linked, paste it to the new game link, and replace "BauBao Wavewrath (Zaishen quest)" with the relevant target page. -- Brains12 \ talk 00:51, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Wikichu[edit]
Just a heads up, leaving a message on Wikichu's talk page shuts it down, and it stops what it was doing. It wasn't in the middle of a task at the time, but just keep it in mind for the future. — Jon Lupen 19:32, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Heads up[edit]
- Gaile wants to put us in front of the arbitration committee. Me for quoting support's email responses to you, and you for... umm... i don't really know, maybe for telling everyone about when she lifted peoples' bans. ~Shard 03:02, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- No Shard, it's because you're a retarded ass-monkey who's too dumb to see that the intellectuals on both sides of the argument find anything you say to be utterly and completely beyond the scope of idiocy. -FireFox 03:09, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- Also, fuck off -FireFox 03:10, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- I love how he so predictably tells his little friend this in the PUBLIC eye of a talk page, whats the matter, Shard, not getting enough attention as it is, are you? I bet your parents disregarded you when you were little, so you resorted to negative attention, and never got the proper counseling. Lesson learned, everyone, get your son or daughter who is acting out the proper care needed before it's too late, and they end up out of control, ravaging on society as we know it. ~ Ryuu Desu[ Talk|Contributions ] 03:14, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- There's a point where ridicule is ridiculous and stupid. You shouldn't comment at all, Ryuu. -Auron 03:17, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- There's a point where I get sick and tired of the same old drama happening over and over again, and nothing being done to prevent to happen in the future, and yes I'm well aware that commenting in such a matter may lower my already non-existent reputation on this website, and frankly I appreciate your concern and opinion, but I'm beyond caring about how others think of the way I deal with things. Interlopers will be interlopers, no? ~ Ryuu Desu[ Talk|Contributions ] 03:43, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

- Umm... in case you haven't noticed, I don't need attention (nor do I want it), and Lena isn't my "friend." If you think pointing out Anet's horrible customer service is "drama," you need to get out to real life. Anet's denial and inability to recognize criticism was not caused by me (as any forum or wiki page will tell you), so stop blaming me for it. ~Shard 03:54, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- sigh ... why is this such a mystery to both of you? You both public attacked both Gaile and Arenanet. You did it by posting your trademark "life is unfair, I want a cookie" remarks on her page, by hi-jacking someone else's support issue, by mentioning an issue that you both claim to have proof of but never back up. And even if you choose to back up your claims against another player, you've both soiled your own reputations so badly that only the other people who've been banned for being asshats are going to pay attention. Seriously, what do the two of you expect? You both pester (and you're not the only ones) support and ArenaNet staff with your acid remarks to the point you've actually pissed them off. Ever heard of that saying, "don't poke the bear?" Hell, have you ever noticed the sign on retail establishments that reads, "We reserve the right to refuse service..."? Guess what, it applies here too.
- Even if you can't find the relevant sections of the EULA that state it, your PMs in game are not private from Support, and if you complain about that next, they'll just ammend the EULA in the next update. Honestly, it's no wonder they look at your PMs. Of course they will find any reason to ban you, all of the people who have ArenaNet complaints are going to raise some eyebrows. Be thankful they wait until they have something like racist remarks to ban you. If it were my store you were in, complaining all the time, hatemongering, etc, I'd throw you both out without a warning. Why is this so hard to understand?
- I seriously have little faith that anyone involved in this will learn anything at all. I only stuck my nose in here because the whole lot of you (not just Shard or Lena either) don't seem to understand this simple principle that when you start pushing, be prepared to get pushed back. And if the other guy (Arenanet) is bigger than you, guess what ... they can push harder.
- The bottom line is this: If you don't like Guild Wars, quit. The wiki is a place to document the game, not document the arguments you get yourselves into then get beat up for.
- You both might very well have valid points, but you've already screwed yourselves out of a fair response from anyone involved with the game. Ghosst • Talk • 13:14, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- Shard, I had this talk with Adrin while you were gone, now I will have it with you. You can't keep egging Gaile on. If you really want to get a result from the bias of yours and Adrin's bans, you need to fight respectfully and with tact. Doing things your way is viewed as "harassment" and you being right or wrong is irrelevant. At this point, I can't smooth over any bumps for you. You lost that card a while ago when myself and anther ver important person told you to calm down and be more considerate with how you voice your anger. You're on your own for this one guys.--*Yasmin Parvaneh* 18:32, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- Fighting through support's channels has one result: Autonated "We don't care about you" responses. If they wanted to handle this in private, they would be doing it. Also, I am not egging Gaile on, I'm trying to figure out why she wanted me banned. ~Shard 05:45, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
- Not intentionally egging Gaile on. It is happening as a by-product, though. ~>Sins WDB 06:36, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Haven't they made it pretty clear by now, it is not up for discussion, they are not going to tell you, and they don't have to tell you. --Lemming 13:33, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Zaishen Quest articles[edit]
Hi Lena, I've adjusted a couple of your edits during your cleanup sessions. When you're doing the rank/promotion points, please try to link to the rank article itself (Lightbringer vs Lightbringer rank, for example). That way, instead of a lore or title effect, it brings the user to the article that deals directly with the points and the impact they have. Thanks. Freedom Bound 13:25, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- I feel as this is a wiki for obtaining information, that, giving all the possible links (to better educate the playerbase who use GWW) is far more beneficial than just a direct link to just one part of a certain title. If anyone disagrees than you, I will link it only to one section. -Lena™ talk 13:27, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- In this instance I would agree with Freedom Lena. When you are linking a reference to Lightbringer points, it should be linked to the rank page, not the skill page. -- Wyn 13:32, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- As promised, if anyone else wanted it done the way you suggested that I would change it back. Kudos. :) -Lena™ talk 13:34, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- Small note: while your cleaning up, only the first instance of an article needs to be linked to reduce filesize and keep the article clear... thansk for your dedication... MrPaladin talk 14:22, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- What do you mean by "the first instance" ? And thanks, I appreciate the gratitude. :) -Lena™ talk 14:24, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- Certainly, for clarification, if a word or page is already linked at the top of any article, it does not need any other linking in the rest of the article... I originaly found out about this formatting rule from this link for wiki links... MrPaladin talk 14:29, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, wow. Thanks. I never knew that. Hmm...... Since I've already done almost every bounty this way do you think they would care if I at least finished up the rest of them? <_< So far no one has said anything about them and I could just gradually let the current format I use slowly dwindle away. Sound good? :D -Lena™ talk 14:33, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

- I heard the best way to get into supports good books was to keep pestering them with emails demanding responses and generally making their days less fun. Of course they are going to be biased, everyone is biased, that is life, if you kept poking someone in their arm I am pretty sure before long they are going to punch you in the face. --Lemming 22:29, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'm the customer. It's discrimination, regardless of attitude towards them. Their less fun day is their own fault --adrin 22:34, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Have you ever worked in a customer service job? Like I said, the world doesn't work like that. It should, but it doesn't. They are people just like you and I. --Lemming 22:40, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- In any case, shouldn't you be pestering Gaile instead? I thought she was supposed to deal with such cases in order to improve support.--Fighterdoken 22:45, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- Gaile doesn't bother answering him anymore. 99.151.143.197 22:57, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- I have an open thread on gaile's page about it. Also, I have worked in customer service, and if I was discrimintaing against someone because of personal opinion, I would be fired of written up. it's called professionalism --adrin 22:59, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- omfggggggggg @ #1. that made my jaw drop so hard. EVERYTHING they have said was literally AGAINST the EULA they are supposed to be "upholding". i LOVED the " keep in mind that we are allow to make judgment calls at our sole discretion" . - I would sincerely hope that it does. GW support needs a HUGE remake from the current staff that is currently on it. I know if I acted like this to MY customers I wouldn't have a paycheck anymore and/or I would be fired. -Lena™ talk 01:09, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
