The two additional professions in Guild Wars Utopia[edit]

The Utopia art had a few references to a Summoner if I remember, so that may have actually been the S class instead of Serpent. That Sounds Risky | 19:27, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

yeh or shaman --Cursed Angel talk 13:23, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
With a huge delay, C = Chronomancer | S = Summoner . Also thanks for exploring gw.dat Markus Clouser User Markus Clouser signature img.jpg 02:58, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

New explorable instance?[edit]

With the information you provided, you seem to be indicating that Talmark Wilderness is the new explorable instance. Unless, of course, I am reading your info entirely wrong. --User Ezekial Riddle silverbluesig.pngRIDDLE 17:45, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

What I mean is that anet created another copy of Talmark Wilderness (Guild_Wars_Wiki:Game_integration/Explorables), similar to what they did for the MOX/Halloween Underworld quests. --Zora 17:38, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Ah, thank you for clarifying. --User Ezekial Riddle silverbluesig.pngRIDDLE 20:44, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
what is the id# of the new explroable? 188.120.234.241 00:08, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Guns in GW1[edit]

..April first makes me think they are just trying to fool datminers...But Crystal Desert Eagle ftw! ~Celestia 08:31, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

I will be surprised(and appreciative) if they bother though. There are a couple more new strings(XXX! Use YYY! ; It is not very effective... etc) which suggest that you need to use the correct firearm against foes. A nice twist for more interesting game play. --Zora 09:26, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Considering that half of the .dat files I've seen have never been used, I think it's just a dev having a good time. Oh, and making firearms not as effective against certain foes would make them incredibly underpowered compared to other weapons (that is, if they do reasonable damage). I could see some NPCs having guns, maybe, but I doubt that we'll get them. Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 15:53, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
"XXX! Use YYY! ; It is not very effective" is a reference to pokemon when you use an attack type(for example, fire) against a pokemon type that's strong against it(water in this case), it will say "It is not very effective..." after the attack connects. BO6B 05:11, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

It's an April Fool's joke. There is no possible way that Anet will bother making an entirely new mechanic for GW1 firearms. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә User Aliceandsven 1.png ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 19:56, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, that time's much better spent making zoos and PvP arenas that no one plays. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 21:35, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Not necessarily a new mechanic, they could probably work like fast bows. --AnorithUser Anorith Grenths Grasp.jpgTalk 22:12, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Well we're not even getting anything on the scale of the 4th this year, which just goes to show that there are even less resources to spend on writing something fairly new like a gun. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә User Aliceandsven 1.png ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 00:56, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
My initial thoughts were that they are some sort of ornamental stuff like minipets, perhaps as a 5th birthday gift, or for a polymock/pokemon like mini-game. The models can be taken from GW2 and there is no need to add a major game mechanism. Now I have no idea but these stuff are still inside gw.dat. --Zora 01:24, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Blech[edit]

I was hoping they were going to add stuff like this.I wish I hadn't of been spoiled. That will teach me for looking at recent changes to see if any more allies were added. Is there some way you can hide stuff like this so people won't see it? 58.106.43.167 05:18, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

With a registered account, you can modify the your monobook.js file to block certain names from the Recent Changes. --Riddle 05:21, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Or you could just... not read it. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 17:24, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
On the Internet, protection against spoilers is a simple task: Log off. If you browse a wiki, you'll read stuff, and a line saying "spoilers ahead" won't help. IT's impossible to read slow enough the stop there, you'll read the entire paragraph before stopping there. I hate spoiler alerts a million times more than any spoiler themselves. Weapons[edit]

They are currently used by the members of the White Mantle participating in the WiK, so they are most likely White Mantle weapons. Additionally, they are white. --numma_cway 10:53, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

WiK Greens[edit]

Any more information on the greens you have uncovered? Supervillain-Tox 02:27, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

How in the world do you even know they are greens? They could be golds like they did with the BMP. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 17:09, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
There are already reported drops of new items. They are greens.--User Pyron Sy sig.png Pyron Sy 19:13, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Where are these documented? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 19:22, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
They use known skins. They don't use the new ones listed on the page. --numma_cway 22:57, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Only one can actually be considered a new skin, Law and Order, but in reality it is simply dual wielding swords and calling them daggers.--User Pyron Sy sig.png Pyron Sy 23:56, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
To be more precise, daggers with the model of a sword to make them look like double-wielded swords. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 12:24, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Oppressor's weapons[edit]

Hi Zora! I just wanted you to know I moved your dat icons for the Oppressor's weapons to the correct naming and fixed the links on your page. I wanted to make sure you maintained the upload credit. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 09:47, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
