Ebon Vanguard Scouts are NPCs that provides the Vanguard Patrol blessing. When first talked to, with at least 25 kills, you receive a bonus. When awarded bonus reputation points, the bonus is greater with more kills.

- "Before we can even be assigned to any real duty, we have to prove ourselves by killing all these creatures. Might you be interested in killing a few for us? We'll never forget your service, and we'll share Captain Langmar's orders to give you a head start!"

Grab a set of orders and get cracking."

- "At last, a friendly face! These lands are perilous, and we cannot return home until they are clear. Would you be willing to lend a hand while you're out here, adventurer? I'll even give you my conscription orders from Captain Langmar...they'll help you!

- Ask: "The sooner the creatures die, the sooner we can get back to retaking Ascalon."
