The name of the image should be something like "User Master Fast sig.png" - see the image use policy for more info about that. As for the colour, use [[User:Master Fast|Master Fast]] to get Master Fast. Although you're better off using a more distinct colour to make it stand out in comparison to the discussion text. --

Would it help to put a useful step by step guide like this in the customizing your signature section? From what I have seen this question is asked alot and for wiki noobs such as myself it doesn't really tell you anywhere in this article or GWW:SIGN-- Zen 00:27, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

This article includes that information, albeit in paragraph form rather than just a bulleted list: "A registered user can customize his or her signature by going to Special:Preferences and changing the "Nickname" field. If you want to use a more complex signature [...] you can check the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" checkbox in your preferences. You've rather muddled the image name, making it much longer than it needs to be, but it is working. If you wish a specific link for your talk page just add [[User talk:Drug|''talk'']] though it's more common to just redirect the image to your talk page. --

Add the following to your Signature Field in your Preferences and make sure to have the Raw Signature Option Checked. Code:

I'm aware I'm terrible at coding, but I can get the same line of code to work elsewhere (like a talk page) but when I put it in my signature it just stays in the coding form. At first I thought "Maybe I need to set it to raw?" but it says that I can't so I'm assuming that's not the answer. I've been trying to get this "Bathory talk " but it never works when I put it in the Signature box. I know I messed up somewhere, but I can't figure out where. >.< Bathory 04:12, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
