Skill type. A pet attack provides a buff on your pet, which activates on that pets next attack, unlike other attack skill types. The buff has a ten second duration, which is not listed in skill descriptions. You must have a animal companion with you to activate them.

- All current pet attacks are tied to Beast Mastery.
- It is not possible to interrupt a pet attack from the owner, but you can from the pet end (which is hard to do, as when the pet attempts the attack you'll get no warning from the skill activation bar).
- Pet attacks do not stack. You can only have one pet attack on your pet at a time.
- When a pet uses an assigned attack, its cry will always sound. Players should pay attention to the sound if they want to effectively use pet attacks without having to keep track of the Pet panel.
- The 33% damage boost pets gained in the August 2009 update increases bonus damage from attack skills so they do more damage than the descriptions state.

- Pet attacks were once shouts, in Prophecies beta, which is why they share more traits with shouts than other attack skill types.
