| Mog Ruith Mac Simagh born to Lord Phineas Simagh and Lady Imbriene Leyoness late in the Season of the Colossus, day 336 of the year 1046.

| NOTE
| There is some doubt about Phineas being Mog's actual father, as Imbriene took sanctuary at the temple, participating in rituals such as Fool's Glade. It is currently unknown who Mog's biological father is.

| NOTE
| Phineas Simagh and Imbriene Leyoness were married under threat of blackmail to the Leyoness family: The Leyonesses were loyal to the monarchy before King Adelbern, and when he took power, Phineas used this fact, threatening to accuse the Leyonesses of sedition if he was not allowed marry Lady Imbriene Leyoness. This act would secure Phineas place as a true noble of blood rather than warfare and allow him access to the lands owned by the Leyoness family.

| Mog's younger brother, Belenus Mac Simagh is born. Mog does not develop a close relationship with Belenus, who is more suited to the noble lifestyle than Mog.

| 1047-1058 AE
| Mog and Belenus taken to the Lyssan Temple of the Sacred Twins with regularity. When old enough, Mog eventually takes music lessons from the teachers there. Within his entourage of instruments are bagpipes, flute, and tin whistle. During these visits Mog befriends Armand LeBlanc, a young boy of a circus troupe that visits the temple for holy day festivals. Belenus disapproves of Mog's friendship with the lower class child.

| Mog is accepted to learn at the Sacred Twins against his father's wishes. Age 13.

| Mog's mesmeric abilities finally emerge with a kiss from one of the twin Lyssae, the earthly medium for Lyssa, Maeve An Binnech. Mog is strongly encouraged by the temple to attend Nolani Academy, which he reluctantly agrees to. Armand has disappeared from Mog's awareness. Mog age 16. Armand age 12.

| During his stay at the temple, Mog had a somewhat short relationship with Dorothea "Dotty" Ermengarde, which was ended by Belenus vile interference. Mog graduates from Nolani Academy. Age 18. Graduates the same year as Tristan de Minuit

| Mog becomes first Tenebrae to Temple of the Sacred Twins in four generations. He is partnered with Canthan assassin Akemi. Also selected to be Lyssa's Lover by Maeve. Mog age 19. Maeve age 20.

| Mog has not seen Armand for at least 7 years. Armand appears to be greatly emotionally disturbed by what has occurred to him within that period. Mog has his friend committed to an asylum where Akestora attempt to restore his mind. Mog age 23. Armand age 19.

| The Searing occurs. Mog is at a mission abroad, and can only escape to a Lyssan temple in Orr. He escapes with Akemi by hiking through to Droknar's Forge, where he escapes with a group of mercenaries. He approaches Ascalon, encountering Armand (searching for his brother Marc), Belenus (making his sleazy way in Yak's Bend), and Dotty along the way. It becomes apparent that nothing of his temple remains. Eventually Dotty abandons the group due to Belenus' advances. Mog age 24. Armand and Belenus age 20.

| 1070-76 AE
| Mog wanders from Tyria to Cantha to Elona, and eventually comes back to Tyria, looking for a place to call home. He becomes accustomed to wandering. Mog age 24-26

| At some point, Mog emerges, having been called to assist a comatose Armand in Master Bei Zhou An's Crystal Palm guild hall in Cantha. After leaving Cantha, Mog is captured by thugs who also capture Sister Lemony, soon to be rescued by Morisedd and Uriel. Mog and Lemony develop a close friendly relationship. Mog age 26

| Mog assists this group in the building of the Hand of Tasos guild, and follows them (along with Armand and Brigit Gaenor) into an expedition to find Pendaran Caradec in Torment. After Uriel's death, Mog joins the Hand of Tasos under Lemony's leadership. Mog soon reunites with Belenus Mac Simagh, as his younger brother plots with Morisedd to abduct Pendaran for bounty rewards, which he does successfully. Mog seeks to undo his brother's deeds, searching for him in Cantha. He winds up being held with Lemony by Ama Svenka, his soul being captured in a jar, and later incapacitated by amuridan. He is rescued by Armand and Zhou and later assists in locating Pendaran. He is later introduced to Maeve An Binnech at Master Bei's guild. Mog age 27. Armand age 23.

| Mog travels to Ironfast village to join Armand and his fiancé Brigit in her home town. This is where former Lyssae twin Maeve An Binnech resides since after the searing, who Mog does not immediately recognize, having never seen her unblinded. Mog age 31. Maeve age 32. Armand age 27.

| 1078 AE
| Mog is summoned by Akemi to resume his Tenebrae duties for the Shining Blade. Maeve eventually follows him and performs the Rite of Midnight to eliminate Akemi. Mog and Ronan find Maeve in Harnavi, return to Ironfast in Spring 1078. Temple construction begins by the end of Summer 1078. Mog age 32. Maeve age 33.

| By early 1080 Maeve is pregnant with twins, Nuine and Radha Mac Simagh. Shortly after the discovery, Mog and Maeve take marriage vows (in addition to their existing bonds of Lover and Tenebrae) under Lyssa and Dwayna. Mog age 34. Maeve age 35.
