Preface

This is a typical overpowered mind blast Elementalist build. Also known as 1>2>3>4 noob spammer or brainless build, it's an effective damage support that fits pretty well into any setup in RA. Being stripped of your attunements will reduce your damage input consistently since the use of Rodgort's Invocation will be scarcer in order to manage energy.

Variants

• Some individuals run Distortion instead of Mirage Cloak, which I think is not a good idea since it requires an attribute spread in Illusion Magic, has a shorter duration and a recharge time. Some people used to say Liquid Flame was better than Rodgort, which I never understood why other than a 3 seconds spike(meteor+liquid) instead of 4 (meteor + Rodgort) although Rodgort has better damage, recharge and a surefire AoE damage despite a longer casting time and energy cost. In all honesty, this build has no variant unless it's for GvG or HA.

Equipment

• Full Blessed Insignia (+10 armor while enchanted)
• Bunch of Vitae runes

• 40/40 Fire set
• Adept Fire Staff of Enchanting
• 20/20 High Energy Fire set
• Spear of Defense + Shield of Devotion (+10 vs whatever damage, have a couple in inventory), Shield of Fortitude can work too

Usage

• Mind Blast, Immolate, Rodgort for damage
• Meteor has many uses, it's a key skill when playing a MB ele so don't waste it
• Watch the field for enemy balls and use Meteor/Rodgort
• Avoid overlapping the Burning condition [Rodgort>Immolate is bad for DPS, Immolate>MB>Rodgort is better for maximizing damage, take note Immolate has better damage than MB for critical situations)
• Use Fire Attunement and cover it with Aura of Restoration. Keep Aura up. (Use those on your staff set)
• Use Mirage Cloak whenever something physical based is on you
• Use Mirage Cloak to cover Fire Attunement and Aura when Strip Enchantment is around.
• Use your high set wisely to gain energy from mind blast against high energy enemies
• Fake cast Mind Blast/Immolate/Meteor as much as you need to, although Mirage Cloak might save you
• In critical situations, when your Aura is up, spam Mirage Cloak to heal yourself, consider switching to high set for more spamming (especially useful on The Crag to avoid dying)
• You can cast Rodgort through Backfire and VoR without any problem (unless very low Health)
