The Celestial Pig is one of the celestial beings honored during the Canthan New Year Festival, and is the embodiment of honesty, tolerance and supportiveness. According to Lorespinner Ri So, he was originally a human named Chong who lived on the world when humanity was still new to it; near the end of his life, it is said that the Gods of Tyria elevated him to being a Celestial.

- If you receive a Miniature Pig via a Lunar Fortune [Year of the Pig], a Celestial Pig appears before the player for 5-10 seconds. This image appears and disappears, similar to the emote in the Hero title track, and is targetable as "Celestial Pig".
- This creature shares its model with a Warthog.
- Has a miniature version.
Trivia[edit]
- Introduced in 2007, which was Year of the Pig in the Chinese Zodiac.
- The Celestial Pig is level 8. The number 8 is considered very lucky in Chinese culture.
