- Dying Nightmares have 90 health. They often kill themselves as both of their skills require heavy sacrificing.
- This creature was introduced as a counter to the 55 Monk builds farming the Underworld. It can quickly strip all of the necessary enchantments from the Monk, killing itself in the process.
- Dying Nightmares often pop up from the ground emitting a distinctive ghastly cry, surprising the party.
- A popping up Dying Nightmare might be accompanied by a nearby Bladed Aatxe which then attacks the party. Dying Nightmares are also often seen patrolling with Grasping Darknesses.
