The Enslaved Hero is a captive of the Shadow Army commanded into doing work in the Burning Forest in the Fissure of Woe. He will be freed during the quest Slaves of Menzies.
When you first meet the enslaved Hero he will remain stationary. After killing the four overlords he begins a slow march towards the Wailing Lord in the Forest of the Wailing Lord. Like the Tower Mage, he does not attract enemy aggro and so does not need to be protected.
