Wow this is way too long, people will never read all of this ! Mallyx & 7 other bosses in the Norn Fighting Tournament map vs 8 players ? Seems a bit small to me. Maybe re-open the old pvp arena for that ? However I like the idea of fighting teams with only bosses, though I fear there'll be a lot of farming, like 55hp spoilt victor or 600 smite.

The rewards are mind-blowing. Too mind-blowing. I don't think the miniatures of the frog will ever be duplicated, and offering a way to obtain other limited edition or hard-to-get items might make prices fall and game economy crumble. For pre-ordering items I remember having seen some people from anet already say that it'll never be available another way again. But I may be wrong--Ruine Forgewight's Blessing.jpg Eternelle 17:37, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

I personally can't state that the idea of gambles when it comes to receiving expansive, high-end gear is pleasing to my ears. It would be much more fair to assign a fixed price, let's say, 1000 Gold Zaishen Coins (or a certain Reward Points equivalent) for Miniature Mad King's Guard (and other similar minis) at the NPC. In this case, we'll at least be sure that the botters "tried hard" for a long time (look at The Jade Quarry and you'll see what I mean). As for the concept itself, it sounds close enough to what's encountered at the Gate of Madness mission, with a bit more intensified difficulty. So all in all, it more reminds me the passage of Urgoz's Warren or The Deep, rather than a simple mini-game. And why not, the question is if the Content Team will actually have enough time to get to something like that, taking into the account that the Dragon Arena, for example, already requires the party downsizing to the scale of approximately 4-5 people. Nice move. Why not gather by type the rewards (like "any gold scroll of experience" instead of writing all the possible ones) ? It would be easier to read. I think you should also focus on your main idea, i.e. your dream and how you see the tournament done. Details about other modes and respawn of bosses will be needed later.--Ruine User Ruine Eternelle Ruine Eternelle.jpg Eternelle 18:30, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

thanks guys i'll try to rework everything as time permits. Sir Sledge (talk) 13:21, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

Personally, I like the concept that maybe someday we will see new content in Guild Wars. Unfortunately the "powers that be" want us to move along because there is nothing new to see here. I applaud Joe Kimmes and his team for giving us the new event and decade weapons, otherwise the 10th anniversary of Guild Wars would have been an utter disaster. However I digress, I was looking at the page and took notice of something you will need to rework in your thought process. Grifball and the other games you mentioned are products of Microsoft and various other companies. While it might seem a simple task to add something to the game (which normally it is) the legal aspects plays a much bigger role. For example; let's say Joe loves your concept and gets big guys to green light the project. All it takes is for some lawyer at Microsoft to site that he got the idea, suggested by you, that he should clone their game. The sad thing is, it doesn't even need to be anything like it to start up the lawsuit. They only need to show that the concept came from their game through a third party. I know Joe would just love to add new stuff to Guild Wars, but I also have some knowledge of how software companies run a cut throat business these days. I do wish you well on getting your addition content added. --Wendy Black 00:19, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback Wendy. I used the Halo & Runescape names as reference points so people knew what I was talking about,as time permits i'm still going to spend my down time reworking these ideas and getting them further away from copying someone else's idea entirely.
