Forest Griffons spawn in the Forest of the Wailing Lord when a player takes the quest A Gift of Griffons. These creatures follow any moving party member unless one player calls a target, after which the griffons will follow the caller instead. The griffons do not exactly follow the "shepherd's" pathing route and will take shortcuts if the character leading them runs an extended detour at a faster pace than the griffons.
