Hero Usage[edit]

  • Heroes only use this spell while in combat.

Notes[edit]

  • This skill overrides any existing modifiers, including: skills that boost elemental attributes (e.g. Elemental Lord), runes, Weakness and consumables (e.g. Candy Corn).
    • Bonuses will take effect if they are applied after Master of Magic (e.g. remove/reapply headgear before casting).
      • Removing and reapplying runes has no effect.
    • Renewing Master of Magic whilst under the attribute boosting modifiers will retain the higher attribute ranks and not reset them to the rank predicted by Master of Magic.
  • Journey to the North takes precedence, setting only one attribute to 12 (and any others to 9). [verification requested]
  • The most effective uses of this skill are:
    • To boost the effectiveness of low-level characters, since it can allow to reach and maintain an elemental attribute rank of 9 at only rank 3 in energy storage.
    • To maximize the strength of Prismatic Insignia (raising an elementalist's armor by 20).
    • To free attribute points for builds that draw on several elementalist attributes or to meet the requirement of certain weapons (notably shields).
  • The amount of energy regained is rounded down: 5 energy spells return 1 energy, 15 energy spells return 4 and 25 energy spells return 7.
  • The amount of energy regained considers only the base cost of the spells, without any modifiers, such as Glyph of Lesser Energy or Quickening Zephyr.
Bug Bug. While under the effects of Master of Magic, being weakened with attribute points in elemental ranks will cause elemental ranks to lower by 1. Elemental attributes without attribute points in will not lower by 1.
