Order of the Phoenix was formed in late 2007 for the main purpose of having fun and removing ourselves from the politics we had experienced in previous guilds. Since then, OOP has continued to grow and now maintains a full compliment of members from all over the world, leading to a great community that is active in most timezones. In general we mainly play PvE, like Vanquishing and farming runs in high end areas, such as The Fissure of Woe and Cathedral of Flames. We also enjoy playing non-competitive PvP, such as such as Alliance Battles & Fort Aspenwood.
Guild & Alliance Events
OOP hosts private parties and holds occasional events, such as informal Dodgeball Tournaments for ourselves and our Alliance, as well as Hide and Seek games, a Scavenger Hunt, and anything else that tickles our fancy (suggestions are welcome!).

The Future
In the far future we plan on continuing into Guild Wars 2 with our members, activities, and Alliance.
Currently the guild has been split into 2 different guilds, the first for those wait inactive untill Guild Wars 2 and the second for those who remain active, the members of both guilds plan rejoining in Guild Wars 2.
Recruitment
Overall our main goal is to recruit players that will have a fun time in our guild, as well as players that will make our guild more fun. The general criteria are:
- Be Active - Log in at least every few days. Without reason, most members will be pruned after 3 weeks to a month of inactivity
- Be Fun - Just play the game, have a good time, and if possible, participate with the rest of the guild
- Be Nice - Because we do not place an age restriction on our membership, we do ask that our members curtail any inappropriate and/or offensive language, and treat each other with civility to maintain our great community
We do not place an emphasis on age or experience in our guild. Our guild and community try to help each other as much as we can, whether that be through missions, title hunting, or just learning the basics. While we maintain a full guild, we are able to make room for fun new members, so please ask if you're interested!
While at this time we are currently not recruiting new officers, we do like to keep an eye our for leaders in our community that are highly active, show initiative, and are helpful to their fellow players and members.
