The guild dates way back to 13th May 2007, with some members playing the very first beta. To date, it has survived lack of new-content-in-GW blues, several alliances and a cookie thief, but the global credit crunch seems to have hit it badly, with members dropping left and right like flies. No dedication to the cause!
Those that are left are regularly out and about in GW, doing elite and not-so-elite dungeons, battling away for the good of the Kurzicks, elf parties or completing missions across the four campaigns (well... three plus expansion). Guild Chat is usually full of banter and we simply LOVE discussions about food. Or lack of. Spontaneous plays have also been held on occasion.
Core members can often be found chatting on Teamspeak.
Recruitment
Due to a sudden drop in members, the BOOM Guild is looking to rebuild. If you fancy joining, do feel free to give one of the leadership a shout, or drop us a line on our forums; we may be able to squeeze you in. No promises though.
A good sense of humour and a toleration of our eccentricities are essential to fully appreciate the BOOM guild. You don't need to play 24/7, just be easy-going with an ability to tie your own shoelaces. Beggars, whiners, spammers and people not faithful to the cause are sadly not welcome.
All that's left to say is: Pie, peace, love, keep on smiling, keep on cracking lousy jokes and may the Toot be with you!
