Thought to be a statue by the Asura,[1] the giant stone monument in the Depths of Tyria is in fact the dormant Elder Fire Dragon named Primordus. Originally supposed to awaken in 1078 AE, Primordus' awakening was set back until 1120 AE due to the defeat of his greatest general, the Great Destroyer.
Notes[edit]
- The Central Transfer Chamber was built near Primordus' resting place, and energy radiating from him is used to power the entire Asura Gate network.
