Since all of these new enemies seem to be bandits, what model this one uses? - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 12:48, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Bandit (Kryta).jpg most likely. Thought ive never actually seen for myself. Suppose i should go have a look. --Master BriarUser Briar Sig 2.jpg 12:50, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
When I killed Cerris, I found enother monk boss near her, it looks like gargoyle, but in Nebo Terrace only one gargoyle monk boss which located at entrance to peacekeepers. Probably it have been moved, but I don't take morale boost for him and corpses near him don't vanish after a while like on screen - http://s03.radikal.ru/i176/1004/e0/04bd89f7d215.jpg Operkot Assasin 17:20, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
She uses the female bandit model, and also, the dead mergoyles + boss are planted there to provide her with an initial AotL minion spawn. Talk‎ena. 18:31, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Yes, i did the research for her. Never bothered to look at her meal though. - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 18:30, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Spawn Trigger[edit]

Can someone tell me when Cerris (and the other peacekeepers) spawn in-game? What do you have to do before you encounter them, and can you fight them still afterwards? --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 18:23, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Complete Prophecies or EotN. And you can go play with them as long as you like :) - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 18:31, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

Special Locations?[edit]

Why were the locations reverted? These bosses do not spawn in the normal zones, only in the special (War in Kryta) zones. I see no reason for that not be shown on the boss' page. --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 19:05, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

i totaly agree.. --Neil2250 , Portal Jumper User Neil2250 sig icon6.png 19:06, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
There are no special zones; that's only for Talmark Wilderness, here it is just extra spawns in he same zone. cf. quess. Backsword 19:07, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Lol, so my new monk can can wander on over to Talmark Wilderness and see her? Good to know! Thanks for being every so accurate and informative, Backsword. G R E E N E R 19:09, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Honestly, I have no idea what you just said, Backsword. However, Talmark Wilderness is an entirely separate zone from Talmark Wilderness (War in Kryta)... Saying you can see the boss in Talmark Wilderness is like saying you can see Post-Searing bosses in Pre-Searing... I still see no reason for the revert. --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 19:13, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
That's exacly wha I'm saying; it would have been correct for TW. I is, however, no correc for The Black Curtain and so on. Backsword 19:15, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Uh, they all have (War in Kryta) pages now. It's to separate them from their pre-War in Kryta versions. So what applies to one page applies to all of them --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 19:18, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Those are Wyn's pages, and are incorrect; there are no new zones for the others. Backsword 19:20, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
That is, this is like quests, while TW is like Regent Valley. Backsword 19:20, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
That still doesn't mean that the bosses spawn in the regular zones. I'm going to side with Wyn on this one, and stick with the idea she set into motion here. --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 19:23, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
That's why I dislike those pages, they've made so many belives there are new zones. They really should have a warning or something, but I've avoided that. If you are interested, I can show you how to test this yourself. Backsword 19:28, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Personaly.i dislike you --Neil2250 , Portal Jumper User Neil2250 sig icon6.png 19:29, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
If you can prove that a brand new character, with no interaction with War in Kryta content (Thus has not completed Prophecies or Eye of the North) can find these bosses in these zones, then your revert is by all means justified. Until then, I am keeping the edits I put into place until you can show me a reason to do otherwise, sorry. --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 19:31, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Just as with all conditional spawns, you must meet the criteria to get them. This is true for all quests, for instance, as well as for festival NPCs. (Well, some festivclas have changed). Caegories, however, are 'conditionality blind', they include all NPCs. Backsword 19:39, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Quit calling them "Wyn's pages" Backsword, the community consensus was to separate out the WiK content, so now they are the "Community's pages". -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 20:02, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
There is no new consensus, Wyn. And I wasn't even refering to that. I simply indicated that they were your creation. Backsword 20:06, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
I think if you read the discussions on Talk:War in Kryta you will find that you are wrong about the "new consensus". -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 22:05, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Corpses[edit]

Minion Master Note[edit]

I just checked this page after having killed Cerris many times since WiK. I have often used a MM Hero (Aura of the Lich and Vampiric Horror), yet have never had Cerris steal more than a couple of minions. There's a 5 second recharge for Verata's Gaze, and it takes 2 casts to make an enemy minion masterless and then take control...if Cerris steals 2 minions, the fight is all but finished because I have killed off the entire group of White Mantle while Cerris' minions and mine are battling and Cerris has wasted 15 seconds doing nothing but gain 2 minions (and likely one or both of those will die in that 15 seconds). Possibly we should change the footnote regarding the use of a MM to something along the lines of a warning about minion theft? I would imagine that a player MM would have a more difficult time micromanaging, but I do not see any reason to tell players that bringing a MM is a bad idea...it is simply something that should be considered when arranging a party and skill sets. Gwynna Vive 07:56, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

You do realize that she can use other skills while gaze recharges right? AI is good with gaze, only its not often you run up against mm in pve so theres little point in equiping it. True I wouldnt specifically remove an mm from the team just because one boss has this skill, but im not going to go out of my way to pick one up either. Justice 08:35, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm not exactly sure I correctly understand the above comment, so bear with me please. My OP was to point out that the skill Verata's Gaze requires a considerable length of time to steal minions, hence Cerris will likely only manage to steal a couple during a fight. The article "Notes" tells players to not bring a MM SPECIFICLY because of that skill. The fact is, that Cerris can steal 2 minions in 15 seconds, 3 in 25, 4 in 35... a player can't micromanage the way that AI can, so stealing back minions isn't practical, but preparedness and alertness can make this fight just as easy with or without a MM in your party. For "Hard Mode" Cerris will have a faster cast/recharge, which will make it that much more to deal with, but again, a well prepared MM isn't a liability for a party. IMHO, the loss of maybe half the minions at best does not warrant telling people to leave MM's behind. To that end, I think the articles "Notes" should be changed to merely warn players about the theft of minions, so that they can make an informed decision whether to ditch a MM, bring one that is aware of the skill and it's effects, or alther their skills (equipping Verata's Aura for example can make life truly difficult for Cerris). The player simply needs to know that Cerris' skill is there, and to be prepared to deal with it during the fight, as opposed to shunning Minion Masters. Gwynna Vive 18:56, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Valid point. I changed the note to reflect this and the use of Aura of the Lich. --- NessUser Ness Hrin SigIcon.pngHrin | 19:03, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
I was agreeing with you. I just didnt think you needed to knock the skill and people for choosing not to take an mm. I didnt realize the note was so rediculous. Ive seen notes like that before and yes, they can get rediculous ;-) Justice 20:12, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Trivia section[edit]

Having a vaguely similar name to some random villain in some dumb movie from a decade ago with no other obvious indications that it's a reference to anything isn't grounds to make a trivia section, or at least it shouldn't be. Why do people try their hardest to pull shit out of their asses to make a trivia section for every single article on this wiki? Pjwned 02:43, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

And it looks like 'Cerris' is Latin for "Kind of Oak" no idea what thats supposed to mean though haha. Kormon Balser User Kormon Balser Tango-dervish-icon-small.png 20:44, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
