15e?[edit]

I'd rather watch my allies die. User Bostavesarebadass Bo Staff elite.png Bo staves are badass. 13:23, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Agreed it's expensive but it's better on a necro or something b.r // talk 13:25, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
That's a pretty dumb comment. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Misery (talk). 13:26, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Indeed XD. This skill is widely used in HA against Hexway and such. Even with it's high cost it's one of the only skills capable of removing dangerous hex stacks. GOLE anyone? --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 13:36, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Monks aren't allowed to carry skills from other professions. It's in the EULA. (Also, this was/is the premier non-elite hex removal for balanced teams in HA. Hex Stack? Where?) FleshAndFaith 18:23, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Even better than GoLe, Auspicious Incantation imo. Recharge is made 7 seconds longer, sure, but instead of turning an energy nightmare into something manageable, you turn an energy nightmare into epic e-management :P Was mucking around in FA as a Kurz Life Sheath monk and it was amusing watching all those hard earned hex stacks on gunther go poof, even more amusing when the wars start hitting 0's on him, lol. 114.77.98.223 09:37, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

What does a hero do with it?[edit]

Do heroes use this skill wisely? Worst case they spam it on allies with 1 non-necro hex.

It's just hex removal to them. They'll use it to remove any amount of hexes - but interestingly they prioritise stuff like Remove/Reverse Hex before it. If you have two or more hexes on you they'll use Remove/whatever Hex and then Convert Hexes GASP 90.208.113.57 16:18, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Notes[edit]

Given the armor stacking cap of +25, is the note on this skill still correct/true? --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 00:06, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

See effect stacking. Caps do not affect single skills (except for degen/regen). –~=Ϛρѧякγ AHHH! (τѧιк) ←♥– 02:13, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Unless it's like Ebon Battle Standard of Courage. 24.197.253.243 02:35, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Bug: only gives +10 armor, not more[edit]

I just tested this skill with 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 Necromancer hexes (Barbs, Mark of Pain, Shadow of Fear and Defile Defenses). With 0 hexes removed it gives 0 armor, with any number of hexes removed (1 to 4 tested) it only gives +10 armor. This skill does not give +30 armor for 3 hexes removed for example. Why does the page have a functionality history?[edit]

This wiki itself clearly says a functionality change is NOT Activation time OR Recharge time eg. Functionality: "This wiki does not consider a skill to have changed function if the only things to change are numerical values, e.g. changes in Adrenaline or Energy costs; amount of damage; Activation or Recharge times; Attribute lines; Skill types; or Range." This skill only had those changes, so why does it say it had a functionality change? 76.181.50.177 04:19, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

Two main things -
  1. the Functionality article is a user-created list of skills that have changes. The users involved in that article have made the decision to exclude the changes you mentioned, likely to limit the size of the already-quite-large article.
  2. Skill History subpages list all skill changes done by anet, regardless of what that change was. Since these get their own page, there's no concerns about article length.
I've gone ahead and reworded the Functionality article to be less confusing. Feel free to let me know if you have any other complaints. horrible | contribs 04:51, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
