What is the highest amount of energy you have had at the end of a Hard Mode run? My record is 105. =P --Pony Slaystation 2:12, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Should this be classed as a dungeon in the infobox? A good way to check is using the Master Dungeon Guide. --Santax (talk · contribs) 16:11, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

It does appear in the dungeon guide Cavey 18:17, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

near what area is it located?? Pijltje 18:31, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Seriously... check out the article. Gunnar's Hold. Talk to Kilroy.: 84.85.197.187 18:37, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Party Size[edit]

hmm party size: "8" ?? I dont think so. Trully is 1 person dungeon

Changed. There is no way someone will be able to go even dual. This is a solo dungeon. AbedeusUser Abedeus Sig.jpg 17:39, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Quest[edit]

Please stop reverting, there is a quest that takes place in this dungeon. It's called Kilroy Stonekin's Punch-Out Extravaganza!. Chriskang 13:36, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

The quest header is for "quests obtainable from this location". Backsword 13:46, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
What? Since when? If it's the case then you should probably remove all quests sections in every dungeon page as most (all?) of them are taken before entering the dungeon. IMHO those quests should really stay there. Chriskang 13:56, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
It's referring to quests obtained in Fronis Irontoe's Lair as the explorable area. Kilroy's Punch out quest comes from Gunnar's Hold. Ooooze~ lowerletters 04:01, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Armor[edit]

Given that you are provided with the same skill bar and a fixed 500 HP, is the armor AL the same regardless of profession, or is this quest just a wee bit unfair to spellcasters? BramStoker (talk, contribs) 21:49, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Should it be mentioned that Ele's should use Prismatic Insignias for an extra 20 armor, if they set 9 in each? Cause A Little Mayhem 01:20, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Incredibly good farming[edit]

A lot of the time, I do a few HM runs of this dungeon. Needless to say, it's unbelievable how much good loot you can get from this. If you use a slice of pumpkin pie, you can clear HM without getting knocked out once, if you're good. I recieve a gold or 2 most of the time, MANY iron ingots and tanned hide squares, lockpicks, dyes, and since there's an event going on, special stuff. I got 9 honeycombs in one run. Oh, and the two ales at the end of the dungeon. In one run, I even got 3 black dyes. There probably isn't any better place to solo farm. Ooooze~ lowerletters 04:01, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

I agree with that, you get all the drops of a HM dungeon except it was designed for 1 person so isn't too hard. User FirstSunspear icon.png FirstSunspear /// Talk 08:59, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

KO is Death?[edit]

The guide says getting KO'd is a death, but does it mean that just getting knocked out is death, or that failing to use "Get Up!" Successfully is death?68.221.97.225 13:07, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

If you failed to get back up with using "Get Up!" it's death. Halogod35 13:13, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Using weapons besides daggers?[edit]

Erm, I was just doing this dungeon and forgot to equip my daggers and was using a scythe. I managed to kill quite a few of the stone summit with my scythe. Are we supposed to be able to do that? I thought we weren't supposed to be able to do damage with any weapon except the daggers. 76.17.238.205 01:12, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

You're right, only the brawling skills should do damage, not even the brass knuckles do any damage while brawling Mcdertr 16:07, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Last time I had some random daggers equipped and the brawling skills became active as if they are dagger skills. Strange !! Farlong 09:05, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

They are active for any melee weapon, but they deal 0 damage unless you use the brass knuckles

Getting Back Up[edit]

My failsafe way of getting abck up is to click the icon and press 8 at the same time. no matter how many times you die it will almost alwyas work unless you are alte to start.--92.11.141.151 15:23, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

It's much easier to assign keys 8,9,0 and - to skill 8 and mash 'em. You can use any keys of course, but those keys are nice since they don't interfere with any other keyboard shortcuts and are near the normal skill key. Clicking at the same time works too but is pretty overkill, I was doing miserably in HM for my book, and I was getting up with ~120 energy, and that's coming from someone that has always sucked at key-mashing minigames (N64 was often a nightmare for me because so many games back then required you to mash buttons >.>).K2K 12:08, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

There's a Limit to Number of Knockdowns Now?[edit]

[1] Apparently, there's a limit on how many times you can be KD'ed. --68.32.187.152 02:18, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Farming Section[edit]

I just added the farming section, along with a map I made up for it. Anyone have comments/edits they'd like to make? I'd appreciate feedback about it. :) Xlegna 17:50, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

I've been keeping an eye of the work... I think the section could be relabled as "walkthru" to fit with other formats... I only worry about the repetition we have with Kilroy Stonekin's Punch-Out Extravaganza! Perhaps a new page should be made with this farm much like what is done with Keg farming and a link can be added on both the survivor title page and on the farming page MrPaladin talk 17:57, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Higher armor ?[edit]

I did this dungeon 3 times in a row now. First I went with my monk AL60. I got hit for like 80-105dmg. Second I went with my warrior AL100 against physicals. I got hit for like 80-95. The third time I went again with my monk but this time I used my 600hp armor istead - AL15. I got punched for 80-115. All in Hard Mode. Conclusion: higher AL does not reduce the dmg high enough to be worth spending money for insignias and replacing those already put in armor. This dungeon is doable playing warrior as well as playing mesmer as long as you know how to fight and you are fast enough in hitting 8 whith your mouse and keyboard combined to stand up multiple times.212.122.218.135 11:17, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

2 min run[edit]

ok so i was doing the mission and i was bored so i was goofing around trying to get kilroy killed and i noticed this idk if its a glitch or what but you can just walk past the first boss guy and go strait to fronis and get the chest and reward.

It's already mentioned on the page, but thanks for the details, I'm sure those interested will find them useful. King Neoterikos 04:09, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
sry didnt see the other person talking that stated it XD

During this dungeon Kilroy seems to walk back and forth for no reason[edit]

This isnt a bug. Hes just resetting to his last waypoint previous to the fight. Headchopperz 18:27, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Using Rampager's Scrolls[edit]

I've noticed that when Kilroy gets the final hit on an enemy it doesn't refresh my rampager's/berserker's scrolls. I'm not sure if that's a bug or programed that way since he doesn't show up as an ally on the party window. I still get experience for his kills though. SidekickSam 16:46, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

I think this behavior is consistent with the rest of the game. The text on the scrolls says, "...lasts until party fails to kill..." — KS isn't a party member, so I wouldn't expect his kills to count. Similarly, you always get XP for foe deaths that take place near you.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:18, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Increased Difficulty?[edit]

I've just come back to GW after about 4 years, and I don't seem to be able to complete Kilroy Stonekin's Punchout Extravaganza on HM with my Warrior any more (can't even reach Lt. Maghma in fact). In 2010/11 this was quite easy, even on HM. Is it still finishable on HM? Also, why is it so much harder, or is it just me? Andran Steel (talk) 18:46, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Just grab Kilroy's buff and run through the dungeon, dodging enemies and spamming brawling block. You can pass the final blockade at Maghma by hugging the wall to the right. Jeree95 (talk) 20:46, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
