Real-life sword classification[edit]
While a sword like this in reality would be considered completely ridiculous and obsolete, it does share one interesting feature of an unconventional medieval German sword -- its point, or lack thereof. While much of Europe was using the weight and sheer crushing power of an axe to behead the vile and wicked, Germany took a different route, using long, heavy swords. These swords, designed and forged only for decapitating, were given no point and remained flat at the end. Unrelated, but interestingly, medieval German executioners often would "show off" their skill in decapitation by beheading two or three sentenced criminals in one mighty swing. I suppose they knew Hundred Blades. Hail and Kill! 15:34, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Dye[edit]
I will put this on my list of dye charts to re-do so we don't have multiple dye charts. ~Shard 03:24, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
Norn sword[edit]
Um, how exactly does this look like the Norn sword, as is noted in the article? I see zero resemblance. This sword is rectangular with a flat end; the norn sword is pointed. They have different hilts and different engravings. The norn sword has a large hilt; this does not. They have different handles. The same goes for the Steel Broadsword, btw. I see the resemblance between the Steel Broadsword and the Mammoth Blade, but not between either of them and the Norn sword. Am I missing something huge? Or should the note be removed? Sorry if I'm overlooking something obvious. Ailina 16:56, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
