Background:

Potentially to be dubbed as Assassin 2.0, akin to how Mai Yukihiro was labeled as Ranger 2.0, Saiyuri is one of many attempts to make another Legendary Survivor. However, this character suffered some failures and has since been recreated a few times. After letting the character fully age a single year, I recreated the character and started once again. Planning each stage and each phase out, picking apart bit by bit which area is high risk and which area I am fairly confident in attempting, Saiyuri made her way through various parts of Guild Wars. Knowing certain benefits, she traveled through the Prophecies missions to gain 50,000xp for ascension. After that, she travels back and forth between Prophecies and Nightfall to gain more XP along the way, all of which was done with as little risk as possible.
Saiyuri has cheated death a few times, where some battles would take her down to sub-50HP. Luck was definitely on both her and my side. Since achieving Legendary Survivor, she has survived against The Great Destroyer and Varesh, a difficult but not impossible feat. While risky and inviting of death, the burden of "playing it safe" is no longer there. Her first death is in the Realm of Torment issued by a Tortureweb Dryder in the Gate of Pain mission.
Every single XP earned was through quests, killing monsters, missions, a single book (Prophecies), and skill captures. Not a single attempt was made on "Kilroy Stonekin's Punch-Out Extravaganza!" (aka Dwarven Brawling). This was intentional and integral, as earning XP through other methods would require more risk, and provides more challenge than simply running the same grind repeatedly. It is not the fastest, nor the safest. But it is definitely more worthwhile and entertaining in the end.
