Smoke In The Wind has become an icon among mercenary's. While others embrace the idea of mercenary's as being pirates for hire, Smoke In The Wind bases his actions on a code of honor which he and his guild live by. He survived for many years of his childhood, stealing food and other necessity from both the residents Arah and The Orrian Army which defended the city, eventually leading to his capture, he was brought before the kings personal adviser, Vizier Khilbron. Banished from the holy city, he joined in with a group bandits and set off towards kryta. Nearing the end of their journey the garrison was mistaken for an Luxon raiding party and was attacked and killed by a group of Guards protecting the new Kurzick settlement in Kryta. Narrowly evading death, he hide himself amongst the bodies of the fallen until nightfall, he slipped past the guards and into the new settlement. Armed with nothing but a common steel knife he managed to assassinate a young guard and assume his identity. With the orders from the Lionguard, the kuzicks and luxons were made to return to cantha, and him along with them. Upon arrival in Kaineng, he found himself face to face with a brand new world. But this world was not like his home, Thugs ran ramped through the streets, hunger and famine plagued the citizens, all meanwhile the City guards and the Celestial Ministry did nothing. Seeing himself as someone who could make a difference, with or without the permission of the canthan hierarchy, he began fighting against both the Am Fah and the Jade Brotherhood, along the way he made strong allies including former members of both sides who had become "Mo Zing", and Traders from all parts of the world. Aligning himself with these individuals they began to look to him as their leader, shortly there after he formed the Guild of Shadows, and with his many contacts and comrades, situated himself as the head of a multinational group of mercenary's who, when needed, complete the tasks which no one else can, to ensure the safety of the citzens of Elona, Tyria, and Cantha. Armor

Smoke continues to wear the same armor that he took from the kurzick settlement, as a reminder that desperate times call for desperate acts.

He has also been known to wear a plain black T-shirt, and a pair of Glacial Guantlets, which he says "My hands move so fast, if i dont keep them on ice they might burn up".
