Would you mind picking another profession to do? I was currently working on the Warrior articles. - BeX 10:23, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, I didn't know, sorry. Although I have no info about the rest of the warrior articles, so I'll go on to monk now. I've done what I can with mesmer and warrior. -- Helena 10:24, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello :)
Hello! I love what you have done with your new userpage(s). I used your old design when I started mine and have since combined a couple I have seen into what I have now. Great job with everything though and glad to see another female that plays! :) ~*~ Foxysheri 23:05, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hey there :) I'm so glad to hear that, and I love your page as well :) And yes, actually, I think female GW players are more common than the boys dare to dream of ;) All the people I know on wiki are female. But that's maybe because females like to be creative with wiki, while the boys actually play the game ;) -- Helena 15:06, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, indeed. People just haven't realised that yet. -- Helena 18:00, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Character Boxes
Hi! I've got a question. I've just seen your great "Character Boxes", and taken a look at code. Have you been thinking of creating a template? That will be better than copy/paste code all over the page? -- M'vy | user | talk | -- 14:48, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- I would probably be better to make the template in your own userspace, as Helena might change aspects of the template which would then affect you. I'm sure that copying the code to your own template would be fine as long as you give credit. :) - BeX 01:58, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah sure, but I've taken it just like a challenge. I'm rather new to wiki editing, but not as programmer. Besides I already used standard character infoboxes. Check what I've done on my sandbox (or work page in some times). -- M'vy | user | talk | -- 08:27, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Looks good so far. :) - BeX 09:32, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- No, I'm not planning on making a template, as I don't need it, and I wrote that code for me and no one else. If you want to use it that's up to you. -- Helena 14:11, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Can't someone write something more so I can use my new sig? :P - helena 17:36, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- Bad news Helena, you need the word "Helena" in text (ie not just an image) for you sig. If Gem's has the word Gem then nobody can get away with just a picture! --Xasxas256 17:46, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- (cough) 19x19 (cough) MisterPepe talk 17:49, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

- Can someone just point me to where in the policy it states your name must be in text? Not because I don't agree, I don't care too much, I just can't find it! - anja 18:43, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- And WHY is that stupid rule founded? I mean, Gem's icon only makes sense to us people who know who Gem is, but no one else understands. Although, my picture actually includes my username. - helena 19:40, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- I dont see it specifically in the policy, but it was discussed when the policy was being made. I remember Gem and Kaya specifically as examples in the discussion. - BeX 03:59, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, we don't really have a rule in the policy that says "Have your name in text", but we still have the 19x19px rule for images. Either we have to stop referring to a non-existant rule, or we should really get it implemented :P - anja 08:58, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Why do we have that rule then? I mean, if you both have your username and a link to your talk page and a link to contributions and a big image, even I understand that will be way too much. But when the image actually is your sig, and nothing else? Shouldn't there be a limit of the length of the sig instead of the size of the image? (Not only meant the length of the code, but the actual signature) My signature takes less space than many other sigs, both in coding and on the page. - helena 09:12, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think it would be best to bring it up on the policy talk page. To me, your sig image looks like it says Hilina. Having your user name clearly in your signature is something that should definitely be in the policy. :P - BeX 09:21, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hmpf. -- Helena 09:25, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- I suppose "Your signature should clearly identify the user" would be the argument used, even though it doesn't say that it must identify the user specifically with text. - BeX 09:31, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- My previous one was a lot of coding, the new one isn't following the rules, I'll just stick to this one instead... -_- Helena 09:40, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Sig image
Hello Helena, it's probably going to ruin your image, but at the moment, according to GWW:SIGN images used in signatures should be 19px by 19px. Your's currently stands at 45px by 25 px. Would you mind changing your signature image? I also think you might have to add a textual link to your user or user talk page according to the same policy. Do note that I have suggested a change @ GWW_talk:SIGN regarding the width of the signature images. -- (CoRrRan / talk) 10:58, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

- Note, for now GWW:SIGN is site policy. Until it is changed, your sig image needs to follow that policy. You could always restore it if the policy is ever changed. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 14:57, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

My Userpage
I need your help again, or advice anyway. I've decided to break down my userpage and have a subpage of each character. I want to use the colored borders and backgrounds, but have it cover an area large enough that if I want to add to it, it will stay inside the border. I also want to widen it to the whole page. I've made a sample of sorts in my Sandbox if you want to see what I'm talking about. I think it would look a lot nicer that way and then maybe I can make a subpage for my userboxes. I could probably tweak the code you inserted for me before, if I knew what I had to adjust and what to adjust it to. Nbajammer 23:55, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, check your sandbox now, and check the history to see what I did. I simply copied the code we used, and it seemed to work just fine :) - helena 04:55, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- All finished. I like this new look better, it looks much less squished together. And I see where I went wrong in getting the backgrounds copied, the code is at the top of the section, not the bottom >.< but at least I got it working. Thanks once again for the pointer :). Nbajammer 15:09, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- No problem at all, anytime :) - helena 15:28, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Ok, after giving it another look, I'd like to switch my Dervish's page colors to the traditional, bluish look. Any idea what coding changes I need? Nbajammer 15:17, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- You can always find the colours used on wiki here. You can also always write {{profession-color|shade of colour}} like they suggest in the link I just wrote. Examples: {{w-color|tint}} for the lightest Warrior colour, {{r-color|background}} for the middle Ranger colour, and {{mo-color|border}} (or {{mo-color|dark}}) for the darkest Monk colour. - helena 12:35, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Mesmer Masks
Hey Helena, your sister sent me, so blame her for this slightly odd message. Recently I've been working on the mesmer head gear gallery as can be seen here, however I've kinda hit a sticking point as I've ran out of masks and no one else i know has the ones I'm missing, which are: Luxon, Elite Kurzick, Elite Luxon, Vabbian, Norn and Asuran. So here's where the weird request comes in, If you have any of those, is their any chance I could lend them for a few minutes to screen cap them? Ive tried running about towns asking strangers, but none surprisingly people don't like lending their masks to absolute strangers ;) Any help you could offer on this would be appreciated as I really want to get that gallery completed in a uniform style. -- Salome 12:10, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- oh I also noticed your wee skill capture list. I made one which might be a bit clearer than the score through option, which you can find here, please fell free to use it if you want. I didn't add the 4 Common Elite's but it should be easy enough to do. -- Salome 12:35, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hello there Salome! Haha, don't think I didn't notice, I do check her talk page now and then :P Although, I do not have any of those masks, I've never really liked masks overall anyway. I hardly play gw anymore, I think it must've been months since I last played. I don't know people in game any more either, so I'm sorry, but I don't think I can help you in any way. That list you made looks great, and I'll gladly lend it someday, if I ever start to care about gw and my characters again. - helena 15:21, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks Anyway Helena, I'll go pester Bex, which should be fun considering its her original mask pictures I'm replacing at the moment. I can imagine it now: "Hey bex great pics and all, from them i can see you have a few of the masks I need. Do you fancy lending them to me so I can screen cap them again and replace your pics with my pics?". Hmm.... thinking that might sound a bit cheeky. ;) I'll think of something. As for you not playing GW anymore, :( (I've forgotten how to make crying emotes) what made you leave GW? Admittedly it gets a bit dull but that's when i take time out from in-game stuff and work on wiki projects instead to get me interested again. (although i think i might break my computer when it comes to getting my vanquisher titles. YAWN....) -- Salome 15:33, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I think GW turned more and more into something too much like WoW for me to like it. I didn't only choose GW instead of WoW cause it's cheaper, also cause I thought it was a greater game. I still think so, but it bores me out nowadays. They added grinding, annoying titles and impossible quests in EotN, which according to me was just a total disappointment, and no one of those I know play anymore. It bores me out even more when I'm alone :P I just feel like I want to spend my time on things that does not bore me out. - helena 16:05, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have a feeling that something like that happens to everyone at some point. Sometimes i have moments of boredom, but i allways end up playing GW after a while ^Teo^ 16:39, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Pronunciation
Just out of curiosity, is your name pronounced HEL-uh-nuh or hel-AY-nuh? I've had a bit of confusion with pronouncing the name correctly. ^___^ azaleachat 15:39, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Well, actually, to pronounce it the way I do it (the Swedish way, which is not correct since it's originally a greek name) it's more like the second one, but not really like that either. But it's very hard to explain Swedish pronounciation in written text, so I'll just say that it's the second one. :) We just pronounce the letter e and a differently, the stress (yes, that was what my dictionary told me the name was) is still on like the second, heLENa, not HELena. It's not like "Helen" with just an a, that would be like your first option. Although that would be more correct according to English pronounciation I guess... Now I just made a mess.
- It's the second, thanks for asking. ;) - helena 16:17, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, tried to find a way to explain, but it's, like, impossible.. :p Weird.. ^Teo^ 16:24, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- It's easier to speak the name than to read it. Haha. Thank you for clearing that up. I'll just that the name Helena sounds more along the lines of the second. I asked because I love that name. xD azaleachat 18:00, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, thank you :) I like it too, makes me feel pretty. You know, Helena of Troy? ;) And it's quite exclusive without being weird, it's not too far from Helen. - helena 20:30, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
