signature

heya! just wanted to let you know, pictures in your signature must redirect to your user page. that means if you wanna use the dervish icon, you will have to download and reupload it at , for example, and then add "#REDIRECT [[User:Raph]]" to the description. - Y0_ich_halt 23:29, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

if you've already downloaded it, click "upload file" at the left navigation bar. you can also create a link like i did above and click it. then load it into the form and enter the destination file name (e.g. User Raph sig.jpg). there are some things you need to make sure:

a) the picture name has to start with "User Raph", that makes it easier to find out who uploaded what pics for what purpose.

b) after uploading, click "edit" and add "{{user image}}" to show it's an image for your userspace.

c) then, as said above, your signature image should redirect to your userpage, so add #REDIRECT [[User:Raph]] below the {{user image}}-tag.

if you haven't downloaded it yet, simply right-click the image you want to download and click "save image as...". if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask, ill answer sooner or later :) - Y0_ich_halt 13:14, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

In order to get it working, you have to paste something like this: "- [[User:Raph|Raph]] [[Image:User_Raph_sig.jpg|19px]]" on this page (in the nickname box; make sure to check the checkbox below it too). Be certain that you use 19px in that line, since this is the required maximum width and height according to GWW:SIGN. --  (CoRrRan / talk) 22:45, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

It is indeed. Especially the height of 19px was chosen to make lines space nicely. We do have a draft GWW:SIGN somewhere where we release the width, but you'll have to look for that on the GWW:SIGN's talk page. --  (CoRrRan / talk) 22:56, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Wondering

you can try by pressing crtl+F5 (if you use firefox). this refreshes the page while emtying the cache. such images and animations are saved in the cache to make loading faster. - Y0_ich_halt 23:28, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

In your last edits to this page, you keep changing the way you link to your talk page in your signature. My point was, the reason it doesn't work might be because you are on your own talk page, and links to it wont show as links. GWW:USER

The wiki, primitive as it is, doesn't (yet) have a tool that determines page size, afaik. Copy it all, save it into some sort of document on your computer, then go to open it. The page size should be displayed just below the name, depending on OS. Calor — talk 03:13, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

On IE, click File then Save As... and then put it somewhere like your Desktop. Right click on the new icon on your desktop and it will say size. You're still over the 300KB limit btw. — ク Eloc 貢 03:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I can read it Raph and i'll explain now why I did that. When I started offending ppl nobody said "WTF Skuld? You're not a rude person", just because that's the way he usually posts. But as soon as u discovered that I wasn't Skuld you(the admin) blocked me. Why? Because as long as "Skuld" is "Skuld" he can say what he wants, dosen't matter if he offend ppl. Is that's right?? I say no, if there's someone who's an asshole that's Skuld(the real one) himself. Yeah, it's a good description, but at the end of the day Beast Mastery is still a useless attribute and that paragraph is still full of lies. Pets cannot tank without a heavy spec which gimps the ranger, nor can they DPS better than Warriors. Just floating through, and I realize this is an old comment... but I think putting in such a negative descriptor in the former's perspective is NOT what you want in a guide page, at all. Nothing you wrote, Ralph, was a lie. It's a different perspective.... a differing perspective does not equate to a fact that has a right or wrong qualifier. Also, 'anonymous', your wonderful insults does not add much to any sort of professional insight that you may have towards the Ranger class -- I think you may just want to step back and leave that page alone if insulting other builds and other Ranger class players is all you can contribute to the Wiki. --GreyGhost 01:14, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
