Anvil Rock is home to the explorable area that has a mountain, as implied by the name, in the shape of an anvil. It is legend that the peak was once the forge of the Great Dwarf himself before he moved onto the Great Forge. In days of peace Dwarves of all types once regularly gathered under the anvil in hopes of the Great Dwarf returning, but in recent years with all the fighting between the two dwarven clans, the rock seldom receives a visit.

[edit] Notes
- Complete exploration of this area contributes approximately 1.9% to the Tyrian Cartographer title. The middle of this area also contains Anvil Rock, which is one of the highest points in the game and has a magnificent view.
- It's a good idea to cap Rush and Bull's Strike from the Minotaur warrior boss, because they are not available until later in the game.
- Depending on random spawns, when you enter the Dwarven village in the southern area of the map, about 5 waves of 3 Frostfire Dryders will occasionally attack the camp. Take advantage of the help from the allied Dwarven Soldiers, who will fight on your side against the dryders.
- To vanquish this area, one must kill about 215-252 foes.
- When vanquishing, one of the greatest challenges of this map is the large boss group near the Ice Tooth Cave exit. If you are having trouble to defeat it, it may be advisable to bring interrupts and skills that daze to stop the healing from the Shiverpeak Protectors; Blackout might also be helpful. The rest of the foes on this map are much easier to handle, so consider clearing death penalty before resuming the fight if you accumulated too much. Also, it may be advisable to restart if you face Jolo Lighthaunch instead of Rubi Spottedmane.
- There are small groups of minotaurs that patrol around the entire map. If you're looking for the last mob and can't find it, try turning around.
