A Glob of Ectoplasm is a rare crafting material. It is used in the crafting of Obsidian armor and Chaos Gloves.

Acquisition

• Purchased from rare material traders.
• Random drop from creatures in Ruins of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings, Scarred Psyche, The Fissure of Woe (Banshee), and The Underworld. For known creatures that drop Globs of Ectoplasm see Category:Drops ectoplasm.
• Always drops from the Underworld Chest.
• Expert salvaged from armor crafted with Globs of Ectoplasm.
  • No salvage items, trophies, or weapons currently appear to contain Globs of Ectoplasm.

Notes

• Ecto and e are abbreviated terms for Globs of Ectoplasm.
• For a variety of reasons, ectos have become the primary alternative currency for player trades and are almost always used for transactions exceeding 100 (e.g. something worth 200 would be traded as "100 +X e" (with X ectos being valued at 100 ). Other items such as Zaishen Keys and Armbraces of Truth are used as well for the same purposes.
• Beware of scams: Globs of Ectoplasm have a similar icon to other items (such as Mursaat Token). Double check before completing a trade.
