[edit] Recommended order

Either way, make the best use of synergies as noted above.

[edit] For fastest KoaBD r6

If your goal is KoaBD (Kind of a Big Deal) rank 6, this order will save you lots of time in the long run

  • Legendary Defender of Ascalon or Survivor (+1=1)
  • Protector & Guardian (+7=8)
  • Vanquishing, then complete Sunspear, Lightbringer, Cartography, Skill Hunter (+14=22)
  • Master of the North, then complete Reputation ranks (+5=27)
  • Then any 3 of the following 10: Luxon/Kurzick, Party Animal, Drunkard, Sweet Tooth, Treasure Hunter, Wisdom, Lucky/Unlucky, Zaishen (+3=30)

[edit] For fastest KoaBD early progression

If you are not sure how far you want to get in the KoaBD rank, this order will progress faster initially

  • Legendary Defender of Ascalon or Survivor
  • Protector
  • Sunspear & Lightbringer
  • Cartography
  • Skill Hunter
  • Guardian
  • Reputation ranks
  • Vanquishing
  • Master of the North
  • Drunkard
  • Sweet Tooth
  • Wisdom + Treasure Hunter
  • Luxon/Kurzick
  • Lucky/Unlucky

[edit] Title synergies

If you're going for a high KoaBD level, it is best to combine titles instead of doing them one at a time. Here's some ideas of synergies between titles:

Survivor + Skill hunter (early elites) + Protector (easier early missions) A fun way towards survivor, and less to do later.
Vanquish + Cartography + Skill hunter (pick up as you go) Scrape areas as you Vanquish them, and bring some cap sig's if your build permits it. Less to be done later.
Vanquish in Elona + Sunspear + Lightbringer It should be enough to max Sunspear, and less to farm for Lightbringer.
Protector to access any later areas Always try for Protector if you need to do a mission, unless it puts a risk on Survivor.
Allegiance + Treasure Hunter + Wisdom Find a spot with bounties or repeatable quests that also have chests scattered along the way.
Allegiance or Vanquish to finance other titles Farming and keyless chest runs may provide better income, but they don't contribute to titles.
Drunkard & Lucky/Unlucky Get your tickets, stand in the circles, and drink!
Treasure Hunter + Wisdom + Lucky/Unlucky Using lockpicks will give credit towards the lucky/unlucky tracks depending on whether they break or not.
Allegiance + Survivor Use repeatable faction farming quests to gain experience for your survivor. In some cases, farming is more optimal with dying, in which case take the role of "The Doorman" (see fast faction farming).
Keyless chest runs + Wisdom If doing keyless chest runs to finance other titles, make sure to transfer all of your gold items to your titles character before identifying them.
Treasure Hunter + Wisdom + Lucky/Unlucky + Drunkard Repeat the Frontis Irontoe dungeon (HM), there alway's is a locked chest there so don't forget to bring a lockpick and you get 2 Ales from the dungoen chest: (Aged) Dwarven Ale.
