Does a Creeping Carp, Scuttle Fish or Irukandji transmit disease to any of the other 2 types of creatures? Please specify which type was diseased, and which type the disease did or did not spread to. Recommend testing in Archipelagos or Rhea's Crater. --Rezyk 00:41, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

It seems to spread between all three, I can confirm that it spreads from Irukandji to Scuttle Fish and from Creeping Carp to Scuttle Fish. -- Gordon Ecker 03:23, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

The description says "For 15 seconds, your entire party has 50% fast casting and all skills recharge 25% faster."
What does that mean? Having reached 10 of 20 possible ranks in fast casting, or when i am able to cast my spells 50% faster - which would relate to 15 ranks in fast casting?
There is also a lacking mention of faster signet casting - that wasn't something fc could do when this skill was born. Maybe others do not actually have fast casting, and the description simply wants to say that your party casts spells 50% faster instead... —ZerphaThe Improver 15:25, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, i tried it out with my mesmer. I had 0 Fast Casting, used the skill, and still had 0 Fast Casting. I activated Healing Signet under the effects of Celestial Haste and could not notice any faster casting. So i suppose the description is simply bad, and wants to express "For 15 seconds, your entire party casts spells 50% faster and all skills recharge 25% faster." —ZerphaThe Improver 13:38, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

The description is ambiguous. 50% fast casting means that your fast casting is cut in half, which is not at all hasty. More likely, the intent was +50% fast casting (or more accurately 150% fast casting). In either case, the 0 Fast Casting would be unaffected because 0 * 0.5 = 0 and 0 * 1.5 = 0. To really test this you would have to put your FC at 4. If the skill works as implied, then you should be casting as if your FC was at 6. --Ronduwil 17:08, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

I had the attribute/skills panel open when using the skill and didn't see an increased fast casting attribute once i tried it with more than 0 fast casting as far as i can remember.
As well, i tried using signets while this skill was active and couldn't notice a decreased casting time. As i said, i strongly suppose "fast casting" is only a bad description for "casts spells 50% faster" —ZerphaThe Improver 19:31, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

The damage type the summon inflicts is supposed to be Lightning damage. This could be tested by using Iron Mist. —ZerphaThe Improver 14:54, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Tested this with Iron Mist at the Isle of the Nameless. The mursaat deals lightning damage. Tedium 00:03, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Me too. Tested all 5 EotN summons with Iron Mist and Mark of Troggy. They do as expected; Mursaat lightning, Djinn fire and the rest some other type. Backsword 16:22, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Charr or not?

Someone with a Charrslayer weapons could use Wild Blow or other steady damage skill to attack these enemies to determine if they are affected:

• Charr Effigy
• Charr Hunter Beast
• Devourer Catapult
• Armored Saurus (during quest, when it's hostile)

Tested Charr Effigy on CoF-HM with Candy Cane Bow (doing 2 damage) and Ebon Battle Standard of Honor at r8 (doing +13 damage for a total of 15). Not charr according to the test.--Fighterdoken 07:55, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Does Stonefist Insignia lengthen the knockdown duration of certain spells like Meteor Shower and Meteor? This could be tested by having a W/E made in PvP with some Radiant Insignias, then fighting a Warrior team in Zaishen Elite/Zaishen Challenge. Calor 02:34, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Tested. it appears that the stonefist insignia does lengthen the knockdown time for these spells. It should also be noted that when Meteor Shower is casted, only two knockdowns will occur. the lengthened knockdown will pass into when the second knockdown occurs. so they will not be knocked down a second time. hope that made sense.... -- Wandering Traveler 03:03, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Resolved

The description states it has HCT 40% chance, though that is unusual as staves normally can only have twice 20% HCT (giving a 32% chance to half casting time and a 4% chance to quarter it). Either this staff's stats are really unique, or that's simply a goof that came up when trying to shorten the description. Resolved

Confirmation is needed about if Keymaster of Murakai is indeed a boss or not. Using Signet of Capture and checking if skills can be captured from him is adviced for this, due to the existance of Boss-like creatures in EotN.--Fighterdoken 21:44, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
