Userboxes

Images

You left a comment on my talk page about my images not conforming to standard, is there anyway I can rename them where they are, or do I have to re-upload them? Rappy 16:56, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Election?

Just curious if there was anything in particular motivating you to withdraw from the election. (On a completely unrelated sidenote, you might want to tweak your talk page header - it doesn't render correctly on resolutions under 1280x1024 because the fixed width of the "Welcome to my talk page" box is too wide - the "Date and time" box overlaps it, which results in the gem image being smushed on top of the date/time text in resolutions up to and including 1024x768.) That's because 1440x900 is wider than 1280x1024, which I did mention it looks fine in. The problem is on narrower screens (1024 and below). (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 05:16, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

I took the "width" out, does that look any better? About the election - I thought and thought and thought about whether I would be better in a Sysop role, or bureaucrat. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that my time is spent more on maintaining articles, like cleaning up or removing vandalism and enforcing policy rather than sorting out conflicts. I would much rather be a Sysop, with the tools of blocking and deleting/restoring pages to help with maintenance. br12 • (talk) • 16:25, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

User Images

That's not exactly what the Policy says, but im sure it's okay as you put it. Ya know what they say, better safe than sorry :P thanks for fixing it. --Lou-Saydus 21:57, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

It's not exactly how it's written, but it has the basic necessary components - the User and username. Whether it is an underscore or just a dash doesn't really have much of an impact. If I'm wrong though, I better upload all my user images again, and other users would need to do the same too. -- br12 • (talk) • 21:59, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

The wiki is not one big suggestions page. It is a record of the game, so if you add Dwarf to the Guild Wars 2 article or something, it will be deleted because it's not in the game (yet?).
